There are sites around Australia that have removed previous burial remains for development. Sydney Town Hall is one example. Rookwood Cemetery had an area exhumed for alignment of roads. If we are to have land available to provide more residential homes for people to live I am sure the dead will not mind.

Such a shame that we voted 'No' in 2023 - history will judge us. This song gives me hope, still, for a brighter future. The effects of Lingiarri will echo yet.

If this was an Anzac grave site it would not be treated in the same manner. The Govt could fix this easily by buying the land and compensating the developer or organizing a land swap if they wanted to. They don't. It all comes down to who pays, the government could find the money if they wanted to. This is part of every Australian's heritage and should be preserved.

from listening to this ,i've just realised and want to salute how good that backing band is . they created a fantastic masterful foundation for the vocalists to launch from . you guys whoever you are need to pat yourself on the back .bloody fantastic .THANKYOU i hope you realise what you've been a part of .one of the greatest ,most important ,significant songs to come out of australia. you've gone down in history. what's the venue? anybody know

for me this can be a spiritual blueprint for restoration .it shows spiritual power flogs physical power every time . when it becomes obvious things have to change ,starting with us .let alone people robbing you from outside ,you're going to have conflict ,starting with yourself [how many years had they been there ,just thing of the spiritual strength needed to walk off with the whole mob ;they would have been trusting vincent .and KEEP believing and acting for the vision .there's lessons here for everybody. vincent has to go down as a GREAT leader and spiritual warrior. shows us what was once accepted ,at some stage can kill you if you don't change . there's a great interview on abc radio [conversations or LNL] with a white nurse i think that was wavehill at the time and i found fascinating with her take on the walk off . she was angry at vincent for fucking up the status quo .she also said wave hill were really struggling and cattle were dying and vincent sent some men back for a time to give them a hand . she see's things differently in the interview . with time to reflect on why vincent did it . isn't that the same in life when we want to change .we can get heat and misunderstanding from some of our nearest and dearest .he was wise enough not to get pulled into a fight in the physical with guns etc but used spiritual power .it should be remembered vesty wasn't all bad .just was in temporal physical power and didn't want to change ..

I live here and a recent TV news article said Helensburgh was the most affluent part of Scotland, due to the business HMNB Clyde (Faslane) brought. People being interviewed were unbelievable. It boiled down to: Presenter: “What’s your view on Faslane , given the survey results today?” Shopper: “Oh, I don’t like it. It has to go.” P: “Even if it devalued your house & devastated the local economy & businesses?” S: “Oh we don’t want the naval base to close, we just don’t want the weapons or submarines”. The worst part is; stupid people are allowed to vote 🗳‼️

Why isn't the red haired lady mentioned in the title..? She has the most prominent voice, if not the second most prominent voice.
