Sliding Knot Tutorial - Left/Right Handed
This is absolutely THE best tutorial I've seen on this form of knot tying for necklaces! Thanks a bunch, and I am saving and subscribing!
Excellent instruction and clear picture. Thank you!!!
love her slow and ez demonstrations
This is the absolute best tutorial on barrel knots that I’ve seen ‼️💖
MOST PERFECT for the second time around watching it as I forgot !!! Thanks again... xx
I realize this is an old video, but if anyone can help me with this problem, I would really appreciate it. I am making these type of bracelets to sell and I know how to make them, but I cannot figure out how to get them the correct size. Let's say for example I want the bracelet opening to adjust between the sizes of 6 inches to 10 inches. How do I make this possible. Am I suppose to place the knots a certain distance apart, am I suppose to have a certain amount of double cord between the knots? I just can't figure this out :( Exact measurements are important to me so I can be consistent in my size offerings on my website.
A few times? Yikes.
Best tutorial I've seen. Thank you !!!
Excellent instruction! Yours is the simplest and easiest method to follow, thank you very much!
🎉so easy to follow. Thank you
By far the best tutorial! Thank you for a clear, precise and easy to follow tutorial. The color with black background, hands and cords not in the way of your visual. I was able to do it on the 1st try qith ny flemsy cord i wanted to use. I have this in my saves to refer back to as beeded
I have a handbag and I need to create this on both ends of the bag strap, how would I do this since it’s not for a necklace
The best method. Easier to understand. Thank you!
thats easy one thanks.. but please just use word right hand or left hand inyead or dominant and undominant its rather easy to explain and easy to understand for us too..
Omg, I've always made it so much harder for myself! THANK YOU for doing this so clearly!
Thank you so much for doing a left handed version - seems like a simple thing but it's the first tutorial that I can actually follow!
oooh excellent tutorial!!! TY!! <3
THANK YOU! Best video out here!
Very nicely filmed and explained. Thank you.
Thanks.
🙏🏻 Thank you
One of the best camera work for this instruction. Thank you 😊
Really Nice video on this! Thank you!!!! I would love to have a link to the leather that you purchased for this because I never can find anything that's nice like this
Great Tutorial .
Best explanation!! Thank you!

This is a clear, easy to understand video. Thank you for this video. Keeping for a long time to reference.
You're a great teacher .... thank you!
Excellent video. Thank you so much!
Thanks for making it simple 😊
I watched several other videos about making slipknots, but yours is the only one showing clearly how to begin the knot. So thanks to you I managed it at last! 🤗
Better download and save this one!
I want to say what others have said... this is the BEST tutorial for these knots I have found. Was nearly going to give up on the knots as I couldn't get them to look nice so thank. you so very much for this!
Haha same for me - I was going crazy not being able to do it with other videos, and then I found this one!
Thank you!!!Been searching where to find this ..So anxious to see how I can put these sliding knotty use...
Thanks for doing this very nice tutorial. Very easy to follow, good to see your hands clearly guiding the way. Splendid!
Good explanation. Thanks.
No
* Your hands cover the working pieces & I can Not see which piece you pushed down & Thru. Remember ~ there are 2 tails & you could be using either of them .. SO FRUSTRATING...
Question? With a yard of cord how long is the necklace when done. 16” 18” 20” 24” etc.
Easiest tutorial so far for my unskilled hands!
Excellent explanation. Thank you!
F………. I always end up with too much tail. It’s driving me crazy
please 🙏 Hi
Thank you! After scrolling through so may videos, thus is the best tutorial! I'm ambidextrous and this make sense!
Thanks a lot! I really dislike working with ropes and knots and the other tutorials on the sliding knot I saw where horrible. But this made me finally get it in 5 minutes
Way, way too fast.
This is a very good video. Thanks. I have a section of braided wrapped rubber (bungee-type) cord on my kayak, and it is tied to non-elastic cord of the same diameter. The cords are joined using this type of knot, but from the manufacturer, they used 3 or 4 loops instead of just two. It looks fancy, but I wondered if it was better in any way. (I am about to replace the elastic cord because the rubber has lost most of its elasticity, and wanted to understand the knot choice by the mfr.) Thanks! (I did wonder how to "un-snip" something, though. :::chuckle::: 3:58)
Excellent tutorial! Very well explained. Saved my necklace. Thank you so much. ❤️💕❤️
Your technique was the easiest and most effective one I found. I tried over 10 times and did it on the first go with this video
Clean your nails- especially the crud.....a nails brush with hot, soapy water works great.
