    .....What??? How is this making DNA visible? How is that a clump of DNA? This feels like a joke that's going over my head. Like a video on how to clean off elbow grease. Because the saliva in our mouths is already the DNA. Any hair we drop is DNA. All of it is visible all the time. DNA is not invisible. It's just so small that we don't know we're seeing it. This clump of DNA makes no sense. It does not make the DNA any more visible than before. I am definitely the victim of a prank.

      Haha, no worries, to be precise, it should be called to purify DNA :) You are right, we are just stripping all else but DNA and a few salts away.

    An experiment that allows you to answer questions that nobody had asked before. Does strawberry DNA taste different from banana DNA? Can you make a shelf stable paperweight out of DNA? Can you make a weapon out of someones own DNA and stab them with it?

      @iubmb Месяц назад

      Appreciate the comment, however, P. syringae can initiate ice formation up to -2 degree celsius. So agree on the when we have heavily supercooled water but certainly among adding a microbes this is something fascinating to my mind :)

    You don't need bacteria to freeze water like that, just put it in a freezer while it's sitting still, you give a bit of movement, same result

      A few grains on like 100-200 ml worked for me. However, dont expect to taste smth like sugar water. It is more like the after-taste when you had a prezel. it is the same concept since you have traces of salt you have a slight perception of sweetness :)
