Man, my family got our first PC in 1998. We got a good deal on a windows 95 machine because 98 had just been released. I have no idea where we got it, but I had this game and I played it into the ground. Built my own maps on the editor when I got tired of playing the campaign... I must have had over a thousand campaign kills. I just thought of it tonight out of the blue and wondered if I could get a whiff of the menu music somewhere online and I found this! You are walking me straight down memory lane and I'm here for it. I played couple other games, not sure if it was number two (but I'm sure I must have had it) I remember a yellow box called Land Warrior and vaguely remember Black Hawk Down. I think there was one more i played but I never really had the chance to get into it.
I had a similar experience with Delta Force 2! That was my first introduction to the series on my family's Windows XP computer. The game was a genuine blast to play and I can't wait to play the next one! I plan to play all of them! DF2 will be the next Delta Force that I play, then I'll play Land Warrior! The first game was a blast, and I really enjoyed 2, so I'm hoping that Land Warrior will be just as good! Thanks for the comment, man. Always happy to bring a smile to people's faces.

Why do people never snipe realisticly anymore
Imagine changing so much about your rifles scope that you have to aim below the target. At that range I'd hit first shot no adjustments to the scope

Dead Space was my first and was my favorite for the longest. But that remake was very good so it’s tough to decide now
I'm debating on playing the remake. How different is it from the base game?
@@Wyattdude11 Story wise the overarching plot is the same but certain sections of the game or moments were changed a decent amount. I think it was enough to make it feel a bit fresh without completing throwing the original out the window. Gameplay and graphics are obviously the biggest improvement, it feels less clunky and looks beautiful. It’s on a hefty sale right now too for steam.

Newer setup! There's a couple of patches you can install to get the game running smoothly!

My favorite is Delta Force 2, there’s just something about it lol I started playing these games in 2003 and 20 years later I’m still playing them on my pc from time to time
Delta Force 2 is amazing! The campaigns and the quick missions are all extremely fun! I grew up with 2 so I'm excited to play it again and I'm even more excited to get into the newer games!
Im suprised there are no tactical voxel games made today, like spiritual succesors to the original delta force games

You usually have to play in Compatibilty mode for Window 98 I believe. Service package 3. Other than that, I'm just using a basic setup!

Random mouse glitching is something that happens to me as well - always did. Not sure what the fix would be, if there even is one. I just kinda got used to dealing with it. The game might also freeze at times when entering tents or approaching vehicles.
It's super frustrating!

The mouse sensitivity is designed for a mouse with a mouse ball not a laser optical mouse of today. That’s why it’s too sensitive for you.
Yeah, it's a bit of a problem later on down the line, but I work with it haha! I need to see if about changing the overall sensitivity of my mouse. Maybe I can set a profile for Delta Force specifically...
