And what if other people don't work on themselves? What then? i guess the whole point of any of this is to get rid of any expectations - for others, for life, for circumstances - so as to not be disappointed. Is that healing? To not have expectations or hope? That seems to be the case to me.

I keep being told I need to work on myself. Shadow work. What does that mean? I am constantly thinking about my words, actions/reactions, and how I can change those things about myself, but how do I know if I am successful? I have been "working" on myself for the past 18 months, but I don't know what I do, or if it helps, or if I'm growing. My life is the same, my attitude is slightly better, but overall, I am still sad, depressed, lonely, unable to make friends, relate to coworkers, same job I hate, etc. What does any of this mean? And to what end? Is it just to capture viewers and make yourself some money? I am lost and confused about any and all of this stuff.

I love your daily readings and listen to them everyday because even if it doesn’t resonate you read so well that it’s totally educational, as I explained I’ve been studying tarot for about 1.5 years now. But what I really wanted to share with you was that at the end of your reading you spoke about the emperor with the three of wands , and recognizing my healing. Just this afternoon , after an appt which was where I did therapy for a year due to a heartbreak and I finished my nail appt and sat in the car and said to myself how broken I used to be when I used to come here.
