Wudang Mountain Kung Fu Academy is one of the best kung fu school in China. Teaching students from around the world in all different styles of Chinese Martial Arts. No male students again... Or do I see one? I think the male mind is better prepared to practice truly the form and focus. Though female (and male) practitioners can do this to improve mind body connection.
The teacher/instructor are good at the wudang art and tao discipline. I watched the ba gua zhang, seven star sword, and 36 step taichi demonstration. They were as perfect as can be. I see many female students. Any male students? The problem that exists here is that most students have to turn their heads to see the demonstration. I guess a one-to-one instructional is the best way.
Beautiful! If the sword can discharge energy, this wudang dancer would win any battle, with minimum or no damage/harm. We don't have those swords yet.
It looks like he is moving in slow motion. But he is not. Thank you for sharing. Intention is present at all times, guiding time. Allowing all components, whether dense or light, to execute its purpose.
He looks like a robust mechanical system of varying components, with many parts, doing a dance internally to have external effects as well. Wonderful machine. Finely tuned. A very fluid system. Wonderful!!

Like fencing, with an opponent. A sword fight. Here the sword is dancing. Its opponent (opposing force is a better term) is the sword bearer.

Ana - greetings from Germany. I started 1990 with Tai Chi Chuan. Now I am retired and do Tai Chi Chuan. But not the whole form - to difficult. Bye - 1979 i visited Finland for a couple of days. !!!!
My livingroom is my dojo, my shaolin - area. The corner of my bed is my place for excercises. I do and do and do and do and do - my doing way! Just doing !!!! I did, do and will do since 1990. I am 67 years.

That's because Baguazhang is classified as an "internal" martial art, focusing on the practice of circular defensive movement and energy redirection known as "chi". There are hundreds if not thousands of different schools and styles of martial arts, other schools like northern Shaolin and Shanda are much more direct and aggressive.

董海川的墓志铭说他“后遇黄冠，授以武术”。黄冠应指道士，故道家有类似八卦掌的传承并不奇怪。只是道家的相应功夫是否原本也叫“八卦掌”（这个名字有可能是董海川起的），以及武当八卦掌到底是董之前还是之后的传承，就不好说了。

No, Bagua and Wudang are historically completely unrelated.
@@Livingtree32 We would have to ask Bagua. I think Bagua (☯️ this is the denotation given to Bagua by humans) would tell us that it offered a little bit of itself to upstart the Wudang sect. ... As a tree 🌳 was named by humans and it exists in a physical form that we can observe. The 🌳 offers wood, fruits, shade, essential oils, carbon sink, etc. "Carbon sinks" are very very recent! Major climatic changes or harsh but beneficial weather events (can be considered as "carbon sinks") that are erratic and catastrophic are not new/recent. However, we won't survive these well if at all. Enjoy the fruits, and the shade. 🌞

You are referring to "long" flows, no "short" bursts. This is good in taichi.

I cannot read Chinese well. But I agree with being too fast or too being too hard (aggressive) is counterproductive at the minimum. Humans are not fast. Humans are more "powerful" than are fast. Once "power" is unleashed, humans are slow to counter the energy, or power, that has no place to be absorbed or to be depleted.
I am a Wudong Bagua sifu of Hk Ching Woo since 1995, Bagua and Taichi theory is very deep, and my intention is learn Bagua and get healthy, so I just say something, if your Baguais too fast
