Nice job with old equipment. In Engineering classes. Time studies show more production gets done it you start in the middle. Cut longer runs and work your way out to the end of the field. The time it takes to stop and turn around uses more time. I never know. I never got to cut a field of hay. And do time studies.

I’ve not heard of a Model 600A. The only 602 cubic inch Continental engines I know of are the R602 industrial and R6602 transportation engines. That is all that is listed in the O&M manual for the Continental OHV engines. The ones in this video appear to be R602 industrial engines.

Yup typical precast telecom building. I've built a lot of them over the years. They never used it? That's wicked odd. Those AC units are rather handy as they typically heat and cooling capable. The rectifier stack is probably worth something to somebody that want's to set up very large UPS. One hell of an AC panel... but I suppose everybody is gun shy about used equipment.

That's opened up a lot higher than 2300 rpm,s sounds like about 3000 I wouldn't tach it up like that till the rings reseat themselfs auto Trans fluid in the fiel will free them up great running engine I have rebuilt probably 8 to 900 of those old detroits I had a fleet of 8 kws with the v 12 s in them used for heavy hauling all automatic 8 speed Allison's in them ,,,best trucks I ever had that was back in the 70s ran them all the way up till 2010 cheap to rebuild too about 2700 dollars and always had at least 3 kits put up just in case lol what do you want for it
