If you want all of these apartments, townhomes, and the traffic they will bring. Build them on your precious golf course. We all realize you are only okay with building up on the opposite end of town from where the lot of you live. You personally will have the least impact to your daily lives from the congestion you are building on top of the rest of us. 60% of our budget goes to public safety yet we have to call the sheriffs department to get an officer dispatched? I’ll be dead or gone before you fix the drainage on Shady Shores is fixed. In the meantime you’ve offered zero assistance to homeowners dealing with flooding and foundation issues due to continued flooding. We have to beg for streets to be closed during flooding. Typically after a vehicle has an engine lock up in high water. I’m certain this comment will be suppressed just like any taxpayers who speak against this mayor and city council in public meetings.

Election propaganda, paid by our taxes. You are not listening to your constituents, who meeting after meeting ask you to stop the dense developments that are ruining our city.

So, we're very excited about seeing this project come to fruition and eagerly anticipate enjoying various events at Agora. There is some concern that noise and traffic will negatively impact the neighborhoods closest to the facility. We live a block and a half away and we hope and pray that our enthusiasm for Agora doesn't wane over time. Further, it's wonderful that there are some great facilities for children but hopefully making the area pleasant for senior citizens to visit is important too so can we keep skateboarders and bicycles out of Agora?

The national economy has changed drastically since the master plan was developed in 2018. Some examples of these changes are the increasing talk of overly high housing valuations (sellers staying out of the market as they're locked in with low interest rates while new buyers hold off and hope rates will drop back down) and falling starts and permits for multifamily complexes. One result is financing not being available for projects that have already started, such as the massive complex on FM 2181 (Teasley) next to the police station, which is now a huge eyesore and breeding ground for mosquitoes. Given these changes, why is the city council still determined to stick to a master plan that no longer makes sense?
