Welcome to my fishing and hunting video channel. I wanted to develop a place to document my fishing and hunting adventures and keep track of all the information, videos, and reviews of the gear that I have purchased over the years. I will do my best to review the gear that I use and the areas that I fish and hunt in hopes that others may find some relevant information or just some laughs.

Hi my friend, thanks for your valuable information. Can you tell me where I can buy a Tail Nozzle for the Avanti S V2? The model comes without the end piece. The one you installed is very nice. I don't have a 3D printer so I can't do it myself. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Maurizio from Italy.
@@aloccimaurizio4191 hey man! I 3d printed that nozzle. I got it off thingaverse. If I can find the file I’ll send it. I’m at work now so I’ll try to find it when I’m off later. Thanks for wstching!
Grazie
What size Battery Pack was you using, and what is your flight times. Is a 5000mah battery enough for it?
@@rogeroverbay4819 I use hrb 6s 5000’s. They are plenty. If I throttle manage I get 5:30-6:00 minutes. If I’m flying with a ton of throttle 3:30-4 minutes. Hope that helps. I have also used 6s 6000’s and it gets me an extra 1:30-1:45 minutes and the cg doesn’t change at all.
@adventuresmidwest3065 Thanks for replying, I was on the fence about ordering one, and this helps a lot
@ it’s a great flying plane. You won’t be disappointed if you get one!
@@adventuresmidwest3065 I just ordered one and two 5200 MAH batteries. Thanks for your help.
Fancy Avanti ❤ 90 mm .... 🔥
Nice mate
@@stevebramsen5670 thanks man.
@@stevebramsen5670 any progress on the FW 190?
@@adventuresmidwest3065 no not yet, not in a rush, don't plan on flying it till end of year at earliest, need a lot more stick time before flying it
That's f****** cool
LEt me know how that computer works out and oh it you are just tossing out that old one LOL
@@MrTiHiDi it’s awesome so far! Fast and really amazing graphics.
Hey, I have had mine since Nov 2023 and it has not flown yet!! We are currently reseeding our whole club field. Your video is THE FIRST I have been able to find ANYWHERE!! your comments on power are so confidence-inspiring for my Maiden. I have COG done and I will be using 70000 mAh packs - with 3300’s on guidance. I have a sick set of Uni-lights but have not done the install yet. Is there anything else I should know?? Recommended rates work okay for you? What was your all up weight (with flight packs) Thanks again
@@mackidave all up weight was 23lbs and change. I use two 6200’s and 2500’s for controls. Recommended throws were a bit sluggish for me and I added to the ailerons so it could roll better. It’s a great airplane and goes wonderful. You will have little issues with it. It’s got so much power and I fly off both grass and a paved runway. Gear can absolutely handle grass. I have more than 50 flights on it half of those or more are out of grass. You will love it!
@@mackidave have a great maiden! It flies great with no bad tendencies! Thanks for watching too!
Love to see dogs getting excited about working with their owners! Hope you both had a good hunt
@@sasquatchwasarrested always great to be out with the dog. He’s turning out to be amazing. Thanks for watching!
Thank you sir
The L39 really sounds good. 👍 is it the stock power system.?
@@tomling9310 yes totally stock. The HSD 120 is a powerhouse. Thanks for watching!
You also need to run a number six wire don’t just put a 60 amp breaker on number 8 wire
What prop size mate, 26 or 28 x 16
@@stevebramsen5670 28x16
Gday mate, Steve from Brisbane, I've got a ums 180 and BH fw 190 and have the Biela 26 x 16. What prop is that and spinner size please and if I need info on mounting engine is it ok to get back to you
@@stevebramsen5670 the spinner is from fighter aces in the uk. It’s perfect. I’m not sure if the size but you can go on their website and get the 1/4 scale few-190 spinner. It takes a few weeks to get because they make each one. Mounting the engine takes a little bit of doing because the engine needs to be 1 1/4 I think inches from the firewall. I used fusion and drew out special mounting plates.
It's awesome that your wife and dog are just as exited as you are. My wife rolls her eyes when the packages arrive lol. Great choice on equipment , the Kong duck will definitely make a difference. Good video and happy hunting!
Haha. Thanks for checking it out. Yeah I’m lucky to have a girl that is as into hunting as I am!!! Thanks for checking it out!!!

Hi, do you think this is a good choice for my P950 that weighs 2.2lbs? the reviews I saw people used heavier setups but I need to know if it works with lighter cameras too, especially regarding the counterbalance feature.
@@flat-earther my camcorder seems to weigh that much. I’m using a canon xa70. I also use a canon 90d with a full monitor that weighs quite a bit more. It’s perfect for both. I really like it. The only drawback is sometimes the pan feature gets loose if you tighten it too much. Good luck!
why the fuck would i wanna use MM do i look like i eat tea and scrumpets?
Thanks for a great flight. What after burner did you use?
@@jsoloughlin just the 19.99 motion rc one. They are really nice and super easy to install.
Thanks Again 🌟

He’s a hunting dog. We are bird hunting.
Is the maiden on hold due to weather? I’m just about to start my build? Seasons Greetings.
@@waynerc1841 yeah it’s been super bad with snow and fog. I’m going to maiden early in the spring. I’ll keep you posted. Let me know if you need any help with the build but it’s really pretty easy.
Shot around 40 arrows through the button today. No creep at full draw, super smooth, and very crisp release. So far so good.
Super Cool
Did you buy this one off Amazon?
@@carsonc9006 no. I got it directly from the CHN archery store. Just type a search for CHN archery up button and it should come up. I tried to share a link and it had no way to share. This is a very nice release so far and it came in under a week. Not too bad.
Any update on how it’s been? I’m looking into it, just can’t justify spending $300 on a button release
@@paulolubogun7849 I’m changing the strings and cables on my bow tomorrow and will be shooting it a bunch. I’m going to put a video up on how it feels.
Shot it today just paper tuning after replacing my string. It shot well and felt awesome. Going to get to the shop to do more shooting at distance but initial impressions are very good. I’m also buying a real uv button to compare next month. I’ll keep you posted.
They come with a wrist wrap? I can see dropping that in the woods
@@robotturkey2929 yeah they do. You could put whatever lanyard you want on there as there is a slot for it. I like this style because you can clip it to your d loop and just leave it there. When a deer walks in, you just pick up the bow, get your hand in place to get ready for the shot! Hope you and the family have a great holidays this year. Miss hitting the lake with ya!
Is the tamron 100-400 good for planespotting?
Yes. It’s a really good lens for aircraft photography and movies. It’s crisp and clear. If you compare it to canon l glass, the only difference is slight haloing but it’s barely noticeable.
Could you please tell me if you are flying the Viper with the supplied PNP EDF setup? I had the HSD 105mm foam Viper and it was shamefully underpowered. I also have the HSD L39 120mm EDF which has given my 3 years of faultless flying. The foam Viper put me of HSD models but looking at your composite 120mm EDF it seems to be worth the investment and flies well with the PNP set up?
@@All_things_RC. I got this one as a prototype two years ago. I didn’t think it would fly at all much less good. It turns out that it is the most fun, and powerful edf I own. If you like the L39, which I also had, it blows that away. You will not regret getting this one and I’m sure the ones hsd is selling now are even better because they aren’t prototypes. I assembled it straight out of the box and it goes perfectly. The only thing I did was cut some decks out of carbon to mount my cortex pro. It’s totally stock except for the cortex pro. I luv it. I have 57 flights on this one and it’s an impressive edf. Good luck if you get one.
@@adventuresmidwest3065 Many thanks and I am seriously considering it. The red scheme does it for me and the performance looks like it is on top of the model.
@@All_things_RC. the 105 was a dud. It flew but underpowered. This one is a different animal. Vertical is very good and not lacking power.
Is this a stock set up or have you used your own fan ESC etc
Totally stock. I got a prototype, so I did have a few additional setup things but I’m sure the production versions are perfect. It’s a rocket of an edf for its size.
Hi, some more questions if I may: What oil are you using for the fuel mixture on the UMS engines 90 and 180 (Redline, KLOTZ, Amsol etc) What lube are you using on the tappets and pushrods (WD40?) Did you do the 1 gallon at 4 minute run and cooldown or fly after the first tank? The FW190 (5 inch I believe) spinner is from Fighter Aces did you use the Zeros supplied spinner on the Zeros 90. How is the Zeros firewall holding up after modifications and a few flights? Have you progressed with the 180/FW190 regarding engine mounting etc? (Or maybe it’s done its maiden already). Thanks in advance - I have both the Zero (unpacked and working on the firewall for the 5/100 atm) and the FW190 is a week away from me and I’ll be putting the 5/180 into it. Cheers Wayne
@@waynerc1841 I use klotz techniplate and it’s mixed by the book for break in and running. I use the gear line for my boat lower unit on the tapperts. I did do the 4 minute runs and cooldowns. The zero I got the spinner from legend hobbies because I used a three bladed spinner.zero firewall is perfect and I have 40 flights on it.
Nice pass. It will be worth it next year

Is this the current production 120mm Super Viper now? With you saying it was a 2m pre production model... im looking at the spec and the current one is 1.8m wingspan and 2m length. Is this the same one as you're flying? Thanks.
@@M4rkmcc21 correct. It’s all composite.
@adventuresmidwest3065 thanks. Will get one ordered in the new year. Just debating between the all red or the grey/yellow one. Shame they didn't make more 120mm composite models as I'd like to buy a few of this size.

Yum yum...
Can you pls tell me what fuel pump you used, if any on the UMS90, Our local supplier is out and not sure if it's the Rcexl smoke/fuel pump. Also what props did you use on the 90 and 180. Cheers Wayne
@@waynerc1841 I used the hacker power fuel rx-u v2 on both. The 180 is a 28x16 three blade biela semi scale rock wulf style prop. The 90 is a three blade 23x10
@ thanks, greatly appreciate the valuable information, we have very similar planes, I also have a Mamba 120 DA120cc, Skywing Extra NG 104” DLE130 and my Avanti 90mm has a TV ( try it ;)) . If you ever need info on those I can help.. will post videos of Zero 5/100 and FW109 5/180 after the builds.cheers from Sydney Australia
You have the P47 (FG60)/ Zero (UMS 7/90) and FW190 (UMS 5/160) - which one would be your ‘go to’ plane (realizing they are all different etc etc) - I ask as I’m at a crossroad (I have the P47 FG60 and a Zero available in stock or wait for the FW190)? Your feedback will be appreciated tks Great videos, keep em coming..
@@waynerc1841 zero is my favorite. It can get into small fields and flying like a trainer. 0 bad habits. The few 190 is a 5-180. Haven’t gone her yet but I think that one will be my favorite. It’s got tons of power and supposedly flys just like the zero. The P47 is sluggish. That’s why it’s not in my favorites list.
