I had a 1980 5 cyl diesel w 5spd manual in the US. I didn't even know they made a 4 cyl diesel. The 5 cyl was slow enough, especially in Arizona with the Air cond on for 9 mo of the year. However, it was my favorite Audi to drive and seemed quite luxurious compared to my previous car, whic had been a Mazda. I haven't had an Audi since 1990. Great memories.

But most of all i would like to know where can one get the chrome strips. I have been to Audi Traditions web site but they are not available even on Ebay. I am in Kenya and would like to restore it for classic car competitions. Any tips for a DIY Job?
