A short video of my 12.5hp Kubota B4200 running my Balfor logging saw. Ideally the saw needs a bit more power from the tractor to cut large logs but the Kubota manages easily on the small timber that I usually have. They don't get the chain hooked up properly and actually pull a stump until the 2 minute mark.

If I ever lived on a farm or in the countryside a Unimog 406 will be the first thing I would get they're just a very versatile and fantastic machine to have and use.

Why he didn't engage the AWD gear?
There was a problem with the air system and it wouldn't build enough pressure to engage the lockers. it was in 4x4 but no diff locks. All fixed now :)

I was wondering when someone would try that! Did they actually all go off? did the bullet go through all of them, or were some of them set off by the shock from the adjacent ones?
Sorry Jim - I've only just spotted your question. The PTO is a standard 6 spline clockwise rotation. You're right though, some of the older machines do run the wrong way so can't operate standard implements. I've been really impressed with this little tractor - it uses next to no diesel (it will run all day on £5 of red), has switchable 4x4, rear diff lock, fiddle brakes. It does pretty much everything a full size modern tractor can do, just on a smaller scale.
does that pto run in the reverse direction? I had heard that some of the older units do.
Power to the PTO is around 10hp, so not much. I bought it used. New ones can be bought from Riko UK.

A group of like minded blokes get let loose with new rifles and some firebirds in a remote field at the Dauntsey Guns .17 Hornet open day. The explosion completely knocked down the sleeper wall that the box was standing on and sent backing boards flying for several meters!
