Setup your EQ - then above the EQ box click on SETTINGS - "SAVE CHANNEL STRIP SETTING AS", and save it. Then in the next project select your layer, and click SETTINGS and you'll see it on the bottom. NOTE there are different 'save as' channel strips for midi vs audio vs performer tracks :). Bang bang.

Cheers, there's actually nothing on it but an rx10 denoiser. I attribute the deep nice sound to the aftermarket tube. So I go from the shure sm7b to a presonus tube-preamp then to my RME fireface.. but I removed the tube on the pre and put in a Genalex Gold lion (ecc83) and it's a huge difference from the China made presonus tubes.. People say it's a crappy plate and I shouldn't put a nice tube like that on a lowgrade pre but I've had many pre's, this sounds super close to the UA solo 610 I used to have and this setup costs way less.. bang bang.

Yes - that's the whole point in order to sing/rap at 432hz organically from step one vs converting it or tuning it after you record at 440.

Heya, damn you're right. I had to go check mine and they've changed it all - I wish they left the old ones too that's too bad, suppressing ancient tuning more.

@@NORBZMUSIC I found it. If you go in project tunings you have to press option to to get to the old tunig possiblities.

@@NORBZMUSIC Yes, @macschomo has got it right. File > Project settings > Tuning, then change hertz by click-n-drag.

Select the automation points you want to duplicate by drawing a box around them, then copy them CTRL/COMMAND + C - then move your marker to the point you want paste them, CTRL/COMMAND + V to paste. OR you can select them, then hold down the ALT/OPTION key on your keyboard, and click+hold+drag the points to wherever you want them.

Heya, hmm I'm not sure why, it should work with any midi triggers. If you can play midi with the NoteRepeat function off, it should trigger when it's on. What happens? You press the key and it just plays once or doesn't play at all or?

You're not wrong, when using the advanced settings you can achieve a good clean even level. However I still encourage people to use Flex and manually level/move/pitch stuff correctly as both a good producer exercise to work with vocals with confidence and for better control of everything.

Yes fair points. However if you're on a M1 onwards having one midi layer and one audio layer recording you shouldn't experience any latency and or know your settings re buffer/low-latency mode. Even my old 2010 desktop could handle 4 inputs without latency. In fact this really makes me feel old lol as 20yrs ago in Cubase the latency was sooo bad even one layer that these days are making the young me so jealous of all you guys having the eco-system so polished now in comparison. I don't recommend doing this because it usually eats away all your headroom and doesn't do a great job levelling everything out it just maximizes everything and usually too much even if you're sensitive with the controls. In Flex, once you turn it on - choose FLEX PITCH from the dropdown, now you'll see 6 little points all around each piano roll piece it chops the audio into, and the bottom left point is your volume so you can manipulate each piece individually or select many pieces and up the volume on all of them at once. I find this to be the best method to level everything out, fix placement (you can move each piece), fix pitch, etc. and have full control of it all.

What’s if it’s an audio track I am recording audio to an analog tape machine. On playback, it’s loud And sounds great. But the levels aren’t exactly brilliant when you Logic to record from the tape machine. You mentioned piano. I’m rather confused. Could you do a video of this and show everyone? As yes Normalise can Maximise the signal too much

No problem, I actually just realized I forgot to include the second part of this. On your menus up top, go to MIX > DELETE AUTOMATION > lot's of options that probably would have helped you clear the stubborn one, glad the video helped still. Bang bang.
