Koya Wheels made here in Australia

It is just stock. I am in Australia and maybe our version is slightly different to the version where you are?

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Front - 285/30 R20. Rear- 305/30 R20. Rims are Koya SF10. Front 20x10” & rear 20x11”. This is my street set up. I have a different set up for the track, which are in my other videos.

Love it and all my family and friends too! No issues with it so far and I think it is quite good value for money when compared to some of the other SXS Buggies. If you do get one (and this goes for any SXS buggy, I have found out), make sure to either put some Rok Blox on it (although I couldn't source any that were made for the Villain) , or make up your own mud flaps to protect the inside of the rear wheels. On my first day of using it, a rock become wedged between the mud scraper and inside of the rear wheel and actually punctured the wheel itself, which obviously lead to a flat tyre. Oh yeah, and don't forget to fit some Window Safety Nets to stop limbs flying out, in case of a rollover (I don't know if you have seen my other videos, which have footage of the rollover and this lead to a very painful broker finger and surgery). You may already know all of this stuff, but I thought I would mention it, just in case you are new to the SXS Buggy world (as I was!).

No. Car has enough power for what I want to do. Not interested in dragging it or anything, just want to improve it on the track. I am better off spending money on handling parts and improving my skills on the track.

@@jesusm2159 That is likely to be next on the list. Just wanted to do things in small increments. Get some negative camber in the front wheels first, semi slick tyres and a bit more aero. See how that goes and how much difference that makes and then look at suspension. If you throw everything at it at once, it is a bit hard to determine what part made what change to the performance.

Thank you. I will be doing some track days in June and I will be putting up some onboard footage from my GoPro (hopefully in 4K) and using the RaceChrono Pro app, which will put up gauges on the screen (speed, revs,brake, throttle etc), so keep out an eye for that if you are interested. I am also participating in a hill climb in July. I cant wait to see how the improved Mach 1 (and me) goes!

@Ben.sendit.1973 I can't wait to see. The ride is sick. I just brought a 23 mach 1 fighter jet grey. I love how they drive. It sounds wonderful, too.

@marcelgob3813 Nice! Will be good for my progression as a driver too, as I can analyse the data and footage and see why I was faster on certain laps etc. If you haven't taken yours to the track yet, do yourself a favour and go and see what car can do. I would recommend getting an instructor for at least the first couple of times- it leap frogs the learning curve.

and who said my project is complete? When you are making changes to a car to see what difference it makes on the track, you are better off making smaller incremental changes and seeing the difference and then going further from there. My next step is likely to be not just the rear sway bar, but front as well and also stiffer springs. There is different trains of thought on whether just throwing a rear sway bar at it is actually a good thing to do (or is it just someone selling you a part?), without looking at it from a more total suspension/set up perspective. For example if you just stiffen the back, what will that actually do - it will likely induce oversteer (which might get rid of some of the understeer of the car, which is one of the issues you get with it on the track, but will it be too much?) By doing it the way I am doing it, i can assess on the track, how much better the car turns in just by having semi slicks on, better downforce and the negative camber on the front. Once I have evaluated that, I can then look to see if I want to go further. As far as a tune is concerned, yes, I will probably get that done at some stage too. However, I think the things I have done to the car in this video give me the value for $ in regards to how much difference it will make on the track.

I loved mine even more once I started taking it to the track. It just got to the point where I was basically at the limit in stock form, so I lashed out and bought a few things.

Ford allocated 700 for Australia, and so yeah, it's a little bit rare, but not too bad. I am so glad I was one of the 700! We did get a little bit ripped off though, as we didn't get the Torsen LSD. One good thing was that they did make them right hand drive for us and so no conversion required. Just have to get used to the hand break being way over on the left side of the cup holders, as they didn't bother to move it🤣
