Agree with the stinky bucks! My lemongrass goat's milk soap is the best for getting the stink off. It's a great selling point for fisherman too.

It's important to know your strengths and also maximize your efforts for the return of investment, including happiness! ❤ Once you get the inventory sorted and caught up, it'll be so much easier going forward. I use Soapmaker 3 and it was tedious to set up. All my 2023 stuff I did over my break, but it's in my wheelhouse. I'd like to stay on top of it monthly, we'll see. 😅 I've started doing mystery boxes $25 for $50 of products with my older inventory. I made so much early last year anticipating more wholesale and retail sales that didn't materialize in the summer. They've been popular. Online Labels even with foreign exchange and shipping is still substantially less expensive than anything I could find in Canada. I have a great mic that plugs into the phone and you have a wireless lapel click. It sounds really good and I use it for real time and also voiceover. I can find it for you if you like. 💜 I'm watching your video and commenting along like you're in the room. 😅

My videos get whatever voiceover I want to do when I get around to editing and such lol. The voiceover is basically last and relates to whatever is happening currently. ❤ I have videos I recorded of soap making almost a year ago sitting waiting 😂 and none will know!

I don't know about inexpensive toys, but could you put a gem in your bath bombs, like an amethyst? Kids love "rocks". Chat idea, tell us what is happening on the farm with your goats.

People love my cement dishes. I bought little rubber door stopper things that are very sticky to use as feet, so the dishes don't scratch surfaces or leap off counters to their deaths. Getting the pour just right is so satisfying and makes finishing them so much easier. I tend to over pour. 😅.

I've priced out cream of tartar all over, Walmart is almost the cheapest at $2.27/100g, no taxes or shipping to consider. However, you have to buy in 100g bags, if they even have stock. That being said, 3kg of cream of tartar at Voyageur Soap and Candles works out to about $1.96/100g including taxes and shipping, but I'm pretty close to them. I only ordered it because I needed specific bottles from them for a wholesale order anyway. 😂. I order my supplies the same way you do, sticking up as much as I can to minimize shipping. I am watching you while I procrastinate on painting bath bombs. 🙄 I'm so not artistic! Really curious about the perfume base!

What kind of marketing do you do for the shop? Does the shop have it's own Facebook page? Are you posting frequently and highlighting the vendors and all of your awesome products?

I have 5/10 of those molds permanently marked with a wood burner and still regularly use the wrong ones, then I have to use a marked one pushed up against it lol. If that embed mold from the dollar store is the one I'm thinking of, I bought a couple a year ago I haven't tried yet. Speaking things I bought and never used, I have 2 sizes of gumball molds I also bought probably a year ago I still haven't tried out! Soon™️.

I'm so impatient with piping! I also never piped anything before trying soap 😂. You did a beautiful job. I still haven't figured out which piping tips I like for cupcakes versus soap tops. Guess I should have started as a decorative baker first! I freaking love the shimmer of white diamonds mica if you try it. I think the twinkle rose gold or green from Windy Point Soaps are also fantastic. They're so subtle and perfect.

I think that candy is called Cherry Cordials or Cordial Cherries.

I did my bath bomb chores and as a reward I am watching your video. 😂 My best piping was from having an accelerated fragrance. By the time I was done pouring it was super thick and perfect. I've always too impatient and start before it's thick enough! I love your little leaves!

I saw you posted a video and said "yay" out loud. 😅 I love bitter almond, I've been planning a soap for it for a year. Black raspberry vanilla is really popular here and slows trace "a lot" for me. To the point it's annoying to texture the top! I'll probably be coming back to edit this comment over and over as I watch through this video! I think it turned out freaking fantastic! 💜💜🖤💜💜

For me it's the microwave and the Keurig coffee pot that we cannot run at the same time! Scaling up is hard isn't it. I've been selling soap like crazy too and have run out of a few things. Lotion also selling well. I need to make bigger batches too but that means bigger utensils, etc. A little scary actually!

I have the same blender and I only use it for 4000-5000g batches because it's a beast, I don't love it either. I blow fuses sometimes, so annoying. I've learned if it has a heating coil I can't run 2 of them at the same time on the same fuse. Even the microwave and the heat gun set it off. 🙄

Mermaid green and magic violet are great! I also like their magic red as well! I use those 3 a lot for my airbrushing. I'm the same way with avoiding the super popular things, but black raspberry vanilla is definitely a favourite for a reason, people love it! I like it, but it's definitely sweet. I didn't love that bergamot grapefruit, but it's ok, not great. I have the balsam cedar and a birch something or other for my holiday soaps. The peach sounds amazing! I have vanilla peach cranberry from New Directions Aromatics and it's very popular if you like sweet peach scents.

I do that lattice top on most of my soaps, really like it!

I don't like making things I don't personally like to use. It's taken me over a year to make bath bombs for that reason! The coffee fragrance I currently have from Windy Point Soaps is Fresh Brewed Coffee. I haven't tried any others yet. I was wondering what your plan was with that fragrance oil 😂😂

Fantastic! They look wonderful! I'm dying to know what name you decided on! I'm also the same as you when it comes to fragrances. If I don't like the smell, I won't use it. Florals are usually a no go for me.
