At 3:27 I saw a Western that is called "the black beauty" in the first row, 3rd from the left. It looked to be in good shape. I have been looking for one. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video, just found your channel. Love those fish cleaning knives, the earlier ones had that button which often fell off. There is one size larger, 9" blade for the bigggg fish, mine is in an unused condition. I did wear out several of those small ones cleaning pan fish.
I love those knives. I’m going to find a nicer one to go into my collection for sure.
Nice work, my friend love the content in your video. Good to see new fresh faces in a knife community. You got some good deals and look forward to watching you more. You’re definitely added to my queue. Good luck on the hunt brother. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate it Jason. It sure is fun I can tell you that. I won a damn good auction and got some cool stuff to show you,as soon as it comes in I’ll make a video.
Z-oh-ling-un is how to pronounce "Solingen", of Germany. The forge capital of the world at one point in time. Some of those Solingen Germany knife producers have been in existence for nearly 200 years. Anyway, I think the Remington pocket knives from early 1900's are really interesting. The various shield designs on one side of the scales indicate the type of blade arrangement it has. There's a stamping on the blade tang near pivot that can be used to determine the approximate years it was built. They also used a neat array of colors in pyrimite scales. The pyrimite(as Remington called it)material has a 3dimensional appearance, also known as celluloid, which was a product invented by DuPont in the early 1900's. These can be detrimental for the knife's metal components if a gas pocket in the material leaks out. First time viewing your channel, I thought I'd share some information with you and your other viewers. Oh I was gonna mention Hammer Brand. Another early 1900's knife company that made some pretty cool pocket knives. I think they went out of business in the late 1930's. I've got a couple beautiful cracked ice pearl celluloid Texas toothpicks, a very nice large toothpick & a medium toothpick that is immaculate, never carried or used, perfect condition.
Very nice. Pronunciation isn’t my strong suit 😂 I’ll eventually get it right. Thanks for watching! I’ve been looking up some early Remingtons and they are pricey
@TheBustedBlade-e5r oh you're good brother, pretty much everyone says that city name incorrectly. Germans have odd ways. S sounds like a Z and, W sounds like a V, but a Th word is a distinct Z sound! Germans..🤦
They do pound out a damn good edged instrument though.
Hey brother you’re in my neck of the woods. I live in Kingwood. Believers is a great shop for knives.
I plan on heading back there soon. That’s was a nice shop.
I won the Auction on the upper right for sure $$$$$
New sub! Where can we buy those knives at? Good video!
@@GregWilmoth Most of them are sold already. I’m bidding on some new lots and will make another video soon.

@@iowareddneck it’s hard for me to part with sone lol. I want to keep all of them.
New subscriber love your videos
@@ArizonaEDC thank you so much !
Are you selling that squirrel skinner?
I would. Don’t know let me think how the best way to make contact would be. I could list on eBay and send you the link. Would that work?
I like that german case. And the sog. Something about that clip
I tell ya, when I first saw the clip I thought it’s a gimmick there’s no use for it but It’s sure handy if you want to switch between clipping on a belt or pocket carry
@TheBustedBlade-e5r and I've had some clips that are tight enough to mess up my jeans too. I have too many knives. Need to purge for sure. Going to keep all that are family's and a few of my favorites. It's easy to accumulate them. Like an addiction
Thanks for watching everyone!

It sold today
Hello I’m a new subscriber. Love your content! Keep it up
Will do Billy, I plan on sticking with it. We video coming out real soon.
I'd buy that green handle Old Timer from you. Contact me.
Don't store that case Kodiac in the sheath, every time you put it in and out it damages the blade.
Already sold it but good advice!
So do you keep and collect any of the knives you buy? What's your Ebay store name?
I sell 90%. I love knives so some just go right in my collection. I will make a video soon about a knife I’m going to keep, very neat history behind it!

Love your content very nice 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much. I’m going to get a little more in depth into some knives. Found a rare case knife I’m going to talk about soon.
Good video. One thing, I wouldn't call that blade a saw. It's actually a to take scales off a fish. A scaler blade. Nice find and it cleaned up great.
Good catch, I actually corrected myself later in the video
Thanks for watching Rob.
Looks like several nice knives in that bunch.
The sod buster should look good after a good cleaning
@@jamesmaines6491 It turned out nice!
