Regarding Wall Street not having a post intermission trailer, on very rare occasions in the 80s/90s they sometimes simply didn't play a trailer. I know that's a boring answer, but just another little nugget of authenticity I like to throw in every now again. Post intermission trailers were actually a lot less common in the 70s.

This was hilarious lol. Ironically this is the most accurate of all the reels I've done so far as I was working at a Warner Village when American Beauty came out and I actually remembered the trailers.

Just rewatched as I remembered something from earlier... Palace Pictures had Elm Street's 1-4. They actually go all the way back to The Evil Dead's UK release in 1983. Enterprise Pictures handled UK distribution for The Dream Child, Guild had Freddy's Dead and Rank had New Nightmare.

UCI LEE VALLEY UPDATE: The cinema was opened 14th March 1994 and still not sure if the correct take over was in 03. As for me I’m guessing I was there late 98-99 as I do remember trailers for the first LOTR was looping. My gosh that trailer bored the FUCK out of me.

Great stuff. I wonder what it is that's causing the frame drop. I output my vids at 1080p 60fps and convert to HEVC x265 to shrink them. I'm wondering if dropping the playback down to 720p would make a difference? Also, I LOL'd when the Digital City bumper came on again. I used to see it all the time between 1995 and 2000. I think Clueless was the first movie to have it, although I may be wrong. The Dolby Stereo bumpers were around until AT LEAST 94, i believe - and of course the more high end movies were using Dobly SR, THX and DTS. Like you, my OCD won't allow me to finish a reel without checking what sound format the movie I'm doing was mastered in. I'm the same with aspect ratios and checking UK distributors. Looking forward to Licence to Kill. Speaking of which, I was meant to comment this on your earlier vid but forgot - there's a very solid reason why U.I.P. had so many titles, they handled the international distribution for both Universal and MGM/UA throughout the 80s and 90s. That's a lot of movies right there.
