I have both experience with Grant Smith as a medical doctor and experience and training as a physician myself. I was born into a medical setting, saturated from birth 73 years ago around my father who was a beloved pediatrician , public health officer and founded a large medical clinic in Redwood City. My own experiences in health care training in psychology and psychotherapy, and medical training focussing in neurology and psychiatry, far more extensive than Grant Smiths. He is a little boy still. Frankly and bluntly Grant Smith is a hypocrite and a phony who betrays all the "wonderful" ways he talks about himself in "grand terms". He is quite completely the opposite of a compassionate and well informed physician. I had a telemedicine appointment with him in which he did not bother to acquire one speck of actual "history of present Illness" as is customarily taught to 3d year medical students. If I followed his appalling poor quality recommendation he put forth regarding my situation I would be in deep trouble with a forshortended life span exactly as presents himself as the remedy. He came across to me as little boy who it would seem has never met a deeply human, compassionate physician or never has the smarts to model himself after such a person. Find an older top quality physician. Avoid this guy like the plague. The best physicians leave Stanford. You may do much better looking elsewhere.

I just finished watching the wonderful film The Dark Divide and felt compelled to come here to see the man himself. 🙂
