In order to have such loose complex kicking they keep their hands low! But defense is def a problem especially on the spin!!! Remember they use foam gloves not 16 or even 12 oz boxing gloves!

i can see that he is a great fighter...but i dont like his style. he always spins and is constantly falling over and there aren't many clean shots landed...

always seems to happen. I know a TKD guy that's moving into full contact and he's gotten a lot slower and just more heavy handed... it doesn't make sense tbh.

yeah but they mainly do kicking dumbass if you go take kickboxing they do hand techniches and kicining techniques tkd and kicking boxing are basickly the same and it actaully mean "tae means to strike or break with foot" kwon means "to strike of break with fist" and do means "way" and what the fuck do you know about tkd lol i take taekwondo every single day i have sparring classes and your not allowed to punch bcuz its mainly about kicking and ik it has hand techniques i take it for dumbfuck

Tae= Kicking technique, kwon= Hand technique, Do= Way of life/principles. You have just Tae. I want to see you in close contact self-defense. Just with kicks you cant win every fight. Your thinking is very limited.

ITF is Matrial art WTF is just about catching points and sometimes knockout nothing more. Is more popular but football is popular too. In ITF I learn really nice techniques to the self-defense what I couldnt learn in WTF(punching, hooks, upercuts, elbows, knees, ground fighitng...). ITF sparring is more about tactic with punching.

@rodrigojunjr tkd is mainly about kicking if you go spar you can't score points for punching and kicking is better bcuz you can reach further with your legs vurses your arms and you can stand farther away from your oponent

@metalcoreon WTF is modern and more practical then itf itf is old fashioned and dont even try yo deny it bcuz im a black belt in tkd i would know more then you

@aconchon he is fantastic but there other 4x world champions i.e julia cross is 6x world champion and in the itf hall of fame best femal sparrer ever and if we are counting patterns suska 5x but david kerr is fantastic to watch both at -71 and -80

the only reason he didnt succeed in k1 was because he fought stupidly. all of a sudeen he forgot how to kick and move and started using the thai clinch. WHY?! why would you abandon your strength and use techniques that your not familar with? its like mike tyson all of a sudden using the muay thai knee or attempting high kicks if he did k1. it just doenst make sense. pierre shudda just used fast roundhouses and attempt to batter up his opponent.
