Felt good to be back on the bike after a 2-3 month break! Took a lap to get back into the swing of things but after that I was right at home! Loving this Ktm 250 and can"t wait to do another race season on this bike!

Had an awesome weekend at round 10 of the SORCS series winning the 251 A class and getting 7th overall for my first top 10! As the series is coming to an end I'll be looking for other races to do. The start of the race was going good until it wasn't. Had some bad luck at the beginning of the race. Once I got going again I was around 5 minutes off of the leader so I knew I had pretty much no chance on catching back up. Another race done and dusted this past weekend at SORCS! I had an awesome race aboard the new Mountain Motorsports KTM! Very excited to be representing Mountain Motorsports at all the next rounds and seasons to come. I'm happy with how I rode this past weekend grabbing a 2nd place in Open A and 14th o/a. Had fun this past weekend in Sparta, Ga. I finished 3rd in open A and 16th overall. You really had to be on your toes going through the trail with all of the rain we were getting during the race. All of the roots and boulders we were hitting would take the bike out from under you in a hurry if you didn't hit your marks. It was a fun race this past weekend in Chatsworth! Made my way through the carnage on the first lap and got up to 3rd place. I made a charge towards 2nd and 1st place on the second lap but ended up going down around mile 4. After that I lost my flow and couldn't get back to the pace I was running. Happy with a 3rd place but aiming to be better for next round!

Tough race this past weekend with the dusty conditions. I was able to work my way through the pack on the first lap until I popped the tube in my front tire which cause me to crash around the 8 mile marker. Bummed I wasn’t able to finish the race but there’s more rounds to come. Thanks for watching!

Great riding? Does it have a rear hand brake and rear foot pedal brake or does it just have the rear hand brake? but it looks like you adapted to the bike pretty good if this was your first time riding one. I would love to see one of these start bars built into an XC quad
Just the rear brake on the handle bar. Yeah I felt comfortable on the bike pretty quick for the first time riding one. I was just trying to get use to the rear brake mainly.
I'm intrigued. Be a fun second bike. I'm assuming the suspension can be tuned to make more compliant for the woods?
Yes it would be a great second bike. Yes you could definitely tune it for woods riding. Kyb is the best stock suspension out there in my opinion.

Stock suspension but it was super stiff. It’s set up for motocross. The faster I went the better it felt 👍🏼
Hey, awesome riding! I am looking to race my Varg and I'm concerned about range at race pace. Do you remember the lap length and how much battery you used per lap? Thanks!
8 mile course and started with 96%. After the first lap it was at 66% and the second lap it was 39%. I don’t think it would last a full 2 hr race. It would be cutting it close. Just depends on how hard you ride it
@@MasePalmer Thanks for the reply! I'm going to try to run a MidEast morning class and see how it does. I think you are right though, may be pushing it out the last lap. Appreciate the info on your experience with it. They're super fast and very fun bikes. Hopefully battery tech will get there for them to run the afternoon 3hr eventually.

Funny because quads started running horns about '04/'05 when they went electric start, but the gncc banned them.
Was going to say it's an unfair advantage on a "dead engine" start, but we didn't give any handicaps to e-starters vs. kickstarters when they came out.
I doubt he'd get the hole shot in the 55+ row. My competitors start their engines before Eddie raises the flag..

I watched a little girl on a cobra e-bike it looked like a little Cobra 50 but right off the line she shot off like a rocket before everybody started going and got the holeshot.
The "Mid-Race Casual Conversation" is what's hilarious to me about electric bikes.

Yessir just stock kyb. Got my clickers and spring dialed to where I like it. Would probably help though to have it revalued for my weight…

Great job! It was a lot if fun but it sure was a dusty race - I could barely see the trail. After coming back into the sport 24 years later at 41, it's great to see you guys post so much content and race footage. Keep it up!
