Here's my latest tackhead banjo build. Shortscale, fully fretted with Ghoto tuners and Nylgut strings. It's a shame the mic on my phone really doesn't do the bass justice, but hopefully you get the idea.

I had to quickly record this lovely tune before the new owner came to collect his banjo. 21" scale curly maple neck local, grown gourd.

This is the first piece that I've learned completely from score, and the most complicated classic banjo piece I've learned to date. I've been practicing it for AGES and i still make loads of mistskes!! So frustrating! I'll re record it in a couple of months if I manage to make it sound better...

Here's my latest build an Art Nouveau inspired reso tenor banjo. The brief for this was Art Nouveau, Japanese and dragonflies.

Here's a quick look at some of the banjos I made and some restorations carried out in 2023. I'm looking forward to what 2024 might bring. Some cool and interesting banjos in the pipeline.
