Elvis NEVER screamed -- he had a very powerful, sometimes raspy voice so do not think power is screaming; are you aware that this was his "'68 Comeback Special" that was televised? btw, the sound of your video is very poor.

You should see some of his performances in concert in Honolulu Hawaii and Las Vegas. this is one of his entertainment in a close place where his audience can sit around and watch him. There are more 68 come back beside this one. He wa not screaming. the song was written with that melody

Fun reaction and one of my favorite performances from that 1968 Comeback Special on NBC television. Thank you guy on the right for pointing out that there was a bit more to go. Man it's so sad when reactors cut stuff of his off early, it's like their finger is poised over the stop button you know? And so often you miss a cool little part of his personality when he unfolds out of the personality of the song he was singing and then is very gracious but also hilarious sometimes with his audience but also sometimes exhausted and emotionally spent. It's just horrible to see that cut off, laugh. This wasn't quite those extremes but it's a good idea to always watch Elvis to the end for sure.

I heard Damiano talking about this song in an interview, and he has said she inspired and encouraged him to write this song. However he also said he writes songs that he hopes people can relate to and implied it is not just about her. Thus, a lot of vague references that can mean different things.Before the whole girlfriend reveal, many persons thought the girl kills herself, where to me it was possible she was instead withdrawing into herself emotionally. For myself the connection to the song is personal through my profession and my adopted daughter, as it brings up so many relatable themes. I consider Damiano to be quite a prodigy as a poet/lyricist. So I wonder if you agree that his girlfriend inspired and encouraged him, but that it is more about anyone who may be suffering from similar issues?

To be clear here the music video and the song itself are about 2 different topics.. The song is about all these crazy ways you could die... The video for some reason is about gun violence.. Not the same message and not the bands choice either... This was largely produced by the label and MTV as it had/has a left wing bias... Mustaine has voted both left and right himself and sees himself as an independent, patriot and supporter of the constitution. He himself owns several guns and goes hunting with his son.. He has expressed that if you need a gun however to deal with a problem you are a pussy.. Aka gang violence or murders using them ect.. This isn't an approve of the act of killing someone just that shooting someone is a pussy way to do it.. Lol.. In case you haven't noticed death and killing is a topic that often comes up with Megadeth sometimes from the perspective of the killer or the killed or dead. But don't think the song itself is about the subject matter the video was made about its not and that's not the message of the song.
