Could you tell me a little bit about your vids? I just found this genre of videos where cartoon characters “sing” at each other while this black goo consumes them. I’ve never seen this stuff before so I’m a little lost. Does this genre/type of video have a name? How long have people been making these videos? Is the music in these videos made by the same people who make the visuals? What is the black goo supposed to be/symbolize?
Basically, these type of videos are based off a video released by Adult Swim on April Fools Day called ‘Learning with Pibby!’. In the video, this black goop starts to take over many famous cartoon worlds (E.G- Steven Universe) and turns the characters into mindless zombies. That video spawned a whole sub-genre of videos where the black goop takes over many other famous cartoons and mixes it with the game Friday Night Funkin’ to make mods. Apologies that this was really long, but I hope this helps!!!
