What happened to the audio?

I just wish Captain Scarlet had received a bigger budget. To me it's unwatchable because of the "uncanny valley" effects of the poor CGI whenever the characters are on screen. Captain Scarlet was always my favorite as a kid, but to my mind, the new Thunderbirds is much better.

What was the musical score that YT removed? Im curious

They still need a net on top of cloud base ..... -that first step ....eek.

I've just put on the Captain Scarlet theme on an adjacent browser - works well.

Shame about the audio. But fortunately it was a similar length to Highway to the Dangerzone and it worked so well.

Probably copyright issues, someone hacked it...

Cool, except there is no such thing as a runway "40" as is shown at 0:15. Runways are numbered 01-36 to reflect even tens of magnetic heading. A runway aligned at 40 degrees would be marked 04. This is typical of what bugged me about the Gerry Anderson productions even as a kid. The suspension of disbelief that they worked so hard to get through story, voice, and model-building was more often than not broken by a complete lack of knowledge of the science facts surrounding their science fiction. Why spend this much time on an airport CGI when you don't bother to look up how runways are numbered or even just note that on any number of airport diagrams you perhaps should have researched you can't find a runway 40? A quick look at any popular astronomy book would have also prevented the productions from pretty much treating planets, suns, stars, nebulae, asteroids, and galaxies as interchangeable "things in space". Still, I enjoyed the shows. Need a technical adviser?

Terrible. Nothing like the original Captain Scarlet.

This IS the Angels, and comes from Gerry Anderson's very own new series of Captain Scarlet, released in 2005 (see his own introduction to the new show in the video's listed on the right). Just a shame he wasn't able to get around to doing the same with Thunderbirds before his death, but I understand that a New Zealand group are working on that for release in 2015... Gerry Anderson is ace.

Those Canadian jets have been mysteronised, hence why they're being shot down.

Love it - good music to a darn good series (used to watch the original when I was young.) Now I'm a tired old grandfather -still good looking I may add (and old school indestructable). ;0)

@MrDaleplan What about the HMS Illustrious? She's still in service. The HMS Ocean is considered a carrier as well. The Royal Navy also has two carriers on the way: HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales

@brianrsanderson In that episode the Mysterions has killed and replicated the Canadian pilots so while they are supposed to be allies, the replacements were attempting to destroy Skybase.

Great show .. when I was a kid I thought by the 21 st century the UK would have an aircaft carrier in the sky like this ..and a moon base... we have not even got aircraft carriers at sea any more ??

No... it's a CGI TV series produced in 2005/2006. But I believe there were some games released by that time inspired in the series.

Gustor. I missed the new series. I knew it was supposed to be good as my eldest brother has all these on DVD. You've just convinced me to sit on my arse for a change and damn well make the most of my eyes! Brilliant compilation. Well done.
