I bought this in Roissy airport duty free shop and was so embarrassed on my flight to rome as everyone could smell something pungent but didn’t know where it’s coming from, then on arrival in rome airport thought it will be ok once I enter the terminal, but instead there was no aero bridge, Long wait inside aircraft for the buses to come, when the bus came and I entered with this bag of cheese people went yuckkkkk, this smell again , I had to hide in the crowd 😂😂😂😂 but the taste is amazing, reminds me of having this in the cheese platter I had many times with fresh baguette in paris.

Hello, thank you for explaining the cheese. My husband is making cheese in Korea and I am promoting it. So I'm studying cheese hard. In a book written by a Korean, it says that when you ripen le langres cheese, you pour champagne on the top and ripen it, is this right?
Hello! Thank you for your comment! We would love to know what cheese your husband is making, if you could share with us :). The Langres' rind is washed with a strong alcohol during the refining stage which is called Marc de Bourgogne. It is true that for its tasting Champagne can be poured on top then flame, it will reveal sweet noted from the cheese :)

Merci de votre question! Les deux/trois, sont de bons équivalents pour un plateau de fruits de mer ou poisson grillés. L'Entre-deux-mers aura tendance à être plus vif et plus sur les notes citronées et florales alors que le Sancerre et Pouilly-Fumé évoquent des fruits plus mûrs et ronds, ce qui permettra à ces derniers d'être associés aux volailles. Je préfère pour ma part un Sancerre à un Entre-deux-mers :)

Hi there! Cru Bourgeois is an intermediary classification given to quality wines that could not reach the Grand Cru Classé classification. Criteria are mainly rating of quality based on tasting from a jury but there is also for the other levels of cru bourgeois (Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel) an environmental approach. @@antonboludo8886 You may go for a not tannic red wine such as a Bourgogne Pinot noir or a Beaujolais. For white wine I would suggest a wine that has a good balance with acidity and fat, a Macon from burgundy would do fine too. But definitely you may stay in the same region, with a white Vin de Savoie :)

I can't seem to find a blue cheese that I enjoy more than bleu d'auvergne
It is my favorite blue cheese! I like to enjoy a Roquefort sometimes, much stronger, but there is another one that I particularly like, it is a blue goat cheese from a local farm (Malagos Farm in the Philippines).
