How's the SQ on this
Have you used there amps I can’t find max draw on these amps
good vid, still waiting on that tuning video !
do I need this if I have a lc7i pro or will it even hook up to lc7i pro
Great video. Not sure if you're going to get into it in the next video but port tuning is a crucial thing to know when using an epicenter. If your tuned low like 32 hertz or less an epicenter is a must have in my opinion.
Can you tell me what can of amp you are using
It’s currently $1044 on certain websites. Search google
It actually has a 1080p screen.
Can I pair an epicenter with a lc7i...!?
Absolutely, it's what I am doing actually
Absolutely, it's what I'm doing actually
@@practicalcaraudio7080 let me be more specific can I pair it with the epicenter lc7i sub amp and amp for the highs 6x9's 6.5's and tweeters
Off topic - My first time here....Man, you should do more videos! You have the teaching skills and are very easy to listen to.... (For me) It's hard to stay focused when some people are talking. You explained everything on point.
Thank you friend, that's the intention. A little spread thin right now but I am definitely ramping up. Thanks for dropping by.
@@practicalcaraudio7080 Totally understand that! Everything will come together for ya.... Have a safe and good week! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Can’t wait to see it installed!
Very soon, maybe this Saturday I will start, or go to the beach. Not sure yet...
Bro is back ‼️‼️
Thanks for waiting patiently for two years. More to come!
Thanks for dropping by!

Do you have installation for a 2017 Chevy silverado LT truck like to know how it looks before I purchase
confirmed fit for a 2nd gen tacoma double cab. you'll have to remove the plastic cover from the rear seat, and the tool tray/back wall trim. nobody looks behind the seat anyway, just do it. low lows are not a thing. small boxes don't hit low. that's ok if you listen to rock, jazz, country. you want that added kick drum and at 50-80 Hz this sub works perfect. give it 375-500 and it's good.
whats with the massive black frame? looks like a 20 years old ipad
had the same thing in my truck. Get tune by pros and still blown after 5 months
what amp were you running? I have had two of these but the 12'' versions in my truck for a year now no issues.
Awesome 🤩
how to connect it with harman?
Just got it today, needed this for my pickup since it’s a small single cab so went with this. Hits hard
Is this wired to a 1 ohm final impedance
2 ohm
You mentioned an adapter to bypass the parking break, what is it called? And can you bypass the brake by just grounding the parking break wire?
You should make it clear that if you want to run the Maestro, this unit along with Kenwoods are the only 2 brands that offer the most features. Pioneer offers Maestro but doesn't work well with all the features.
You made a whole new channel? I been looking for the review on the boost and shutter channel lol
Great review. I have the JVC KD-AVX77 in both of my vehicles but I’m getting the itch to upgrade. It’s nice but oh my, it’s expensive.
Will this work on toyota rav 4 2022
Volume up down buttons feel cheap and wobbly compared to Sony stereos. I would get the Kenwood version just because of that.
how do you change the display brightness? i only found 1 “dimmer” setting that does not dim the brightness enough!
I heard in another review that there’s an option to “sync” with your car dimming feature on the dash. Might help!
There is a third option called ‘Sync’, but i think you need a special adapter for it work with the dash. i tested it and it just maxes out the brightness
Amazing touch Screen I just install in mine 2008 Toyota Yaris
Where is the link to you’re other channel?
Good review thanks
How can i low the brightness on this JVC head unit ?
How many cubes is the enclosure?
does it fit under the back seat of a crew cab?
i added two 10s to my 08 silverado but you have to get seat spacers there loud tho
Thanks to you for the link to order dash kit
I have purchased RF R2-500X1 for my Dodge Challenger and was thinking about Kicker - L7T124 but I'm worried about low frequency response 25-100 Hz
You mention the Subaru install video, where is it? Another channel?
My Boost & Shutter channel
@@practicalcaraudio7080 you have one on the jvc kw-z1000?
It's perfect for trucks
Indeed it is
I just put this same sub in my gmc sierra powered by my JL 500/1 and I'm impressed with the quality it delivers 👌🏿 😎
Hits hard for the size. I'm pretty happy with it.
How’s the A/C vents and Hazards button reach
Depends on the car. In mine I can slide it down to make the buttons accessible and the vents are slightly covered. You can tilt it down if you needed them in a pinch.
How would a 8 of these hit in a Ford F-150 super crew truck? I saw that those are 350 rms. I’m wondering if that’s enough for a truck since it’s inside the cab and not a trunk.
2 would be enough
I got this unit in September of last year. I've had nothing but problems with connectivity. I finally called JVC/Kenwood and I have to mail them the head unit and they will attempt to fix or replace the unit. The plus side is the unit does display the error code.
I never had a single issue with it, but every item is subject to have DOA or products with serious defects that make it out of the QA process. Sometimes it's just luck of the draw.
Whats the max volume on it
So I have a single cab Chevrolet pick up and I was thinking of getting two of those with 1000 Watt amp you think it will beat hard
Oh yeah, one would be enough for me, two would definitely do the job.
Not sure if you gone thru with it but I have a single 12 and it thumps.
Nice subwoofer for those who have limited room, but want a powerful sub. Thanks for dropping by!
FanTasTiC Radio… with (1) major complaint. The Kenwood equiv product DMX1057XR has 2 HD Video inputs. The JVC does not. As much as I luv this receiver, I’m limited to composite video for the Front and Rear cameras. Disappointing.
Thanks very much for your input!
JVC is the lower brand, which is why most of your newer features will be seen on Kenwood first.
Hey Bro, great video! Very in-depth. I was thinking about the head unit for my 2016 WRX, any issues with it covering up your vents?
If you lower the head unit all the way down at install. it covers about half of the vents (at least from my perspective). Most of the time I didn't even need those top vents, but when I did I just angled the head unit down and got the full blast of the vents. It's certainly something to consider. Thanks for watching!
@@practicalcaraudio7080 Thanks for the insight. That 10.1 HD screen is definitely appealing. Just hope prices can come back down soon. My plan B would be the Kenwood Excelon DMX957XR. Not too many head units on the market with an HD display.
@@spiders0420 Yeah it's a beautiful screen for sure. The Pioneer floating HU has a much smaller bezel. but screen-wise this one is better.
@@practicalcaraudio7080 hey man im considering getting this unit for my 2021 wrx sti so you said you can drop the head unit about half way the vents so its not too difficult to press the enter button on the subaru top screen?
Are you able to dim the screen really low at night? Or is there an option to turn the screen off without powering it down? Have you play around with screen mirroring and how well does that work? Great review, thanks for being thorough.
Yes you can dim the screen really low and I believe you can turn off the display as well, but don't quote me on that. Screen mirroring works perfectly with almost no lag. Thanks for dropping by!
@@practicalcaraudio7080 one last question. When you set your sub gain on the amp. At what subwoofer level on the radio did you have it at? 0, 1, 2? Thanks
@@BTL3.0 that varies amp to amp example some Amps had 4 and 5 volts like mine it likes two volts so on mine it's only on two
i could not a find a setting to dim the display low. there is one “dimmer” option which didn’t dim the display enough. it’s too bright while driving at night, any recommendations?
@@nisargthakur I just use a dark all black wall paper
