Simple Floating Nightstands
In this woodworking project, a client had a design in mind for a set of floating nightstands to match his pine bedframe, but no one to make them... that's where I come in! With a bit of assistance from myself on finalizing the design, we were able to bring his drawing and imagination to life! What are your thoughts on my client's design? Personally I think they're great, something very unique and they serve the purpose perfectly. At the end of the day, if my clients are happy then I'm happy.

Cribbage Board... With a TWIST
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.Год назад
In this woodworking project, follow along as I build my own variation of a custom cribbage board! Found this beautiful piece of Oak wood in my shop leftover from another build I did a while back. Can anyone tell me what kind of Oak wood this is? It's not red or white! This is the start of my journey making media from my woodworking builds, so make sure to follow along so you can see what I'm up...

Thanks for this video! I have been searching for a video of how to get my storage compartment into my boards. This was very helpful! Appreciate you going thru that step, because most other videos have not done that! I like the template use. Do you have more details on how you built those? Also, How you trimmed the "lid"? Was that with the bandsaw? Maybe a video on those steps would be great. Again, something I have not seen yet on any other youtube videos. I'm a beginner and can use all the help I can get.

Thanks Laura! So I actually printed off a paper template, transferred the holes onto a nice piece of plywood with a punch, then really took my time and drilled out every hole with the drill press! I trimmed the lid with a bandsaw yes, but then followed my template with the router to get the final shape. Happy building!

Just came across this video. Really nice job. There's 0% chance i would have put the nearly finished board back through the planar though with how frequently it causes snipe. But clearly you've got a method to avoid it, even without the 735's outfeed tables.

Really appreciate that Scott! Yes you are totally right, after putting a few hours into a piece of wood it definitely makes me nervous putting something through the 735 monster lol. Snipe is a pain but with my setup I can typically avoid it. Cheers mate!
