Where do the blinker fluids go?
@logansmith5570 That is true, but the use for a manual is to maintain the car properly so you won't have to repair the more costly repairs like transmission fixes, etc. I bet most people wouldn't know at what year or mileage you should do a transmission fluid change or even a timing belt checkup when needed. That's what causes people to repair most of the time, is poor maintenence.
Hub a hub a hub a
All answers except how to repair it.
They make tire tread depth tools. Can easily be bought at many places for less then 20 dollars. Some are even colored coded.
As a mechanic i change mine only if they pop or for state inspection time then new tires go back in the shop for next year 😂😂😂😂😂
I retire them once I see cords going everywhere 😂
I replace when I start to peel out at 10mph.
Replace it when the metal starts to splinter off
By the way I'm joking
If you expect a tyre on the wear bar to keep you on hte road in the wet you'll soon be saying hi to the ditch or crash barrier. Unless you live some where dry better change them at 3mm (1/8")
Still plenty of thread left as indicated by the thread wear indicator.
Absolutely, they are recently new tires
You could take up an embroidery hobby with all that thread
@@illmannered1 haha
Yeah if a Michelin side walks don't dry rot and separate first...... happened on 2 cars I own.
Thanks! When do I replace my gas?
My dad taught me how to make make one out of a nylon strap and a piece of wood. It has saved me before.
That's awesome! Sounds like a great dude!
Most oil filters need to be torqued to 18-20 foot pounds per manufacturing guidelines. An average person by hand can only achieve 8-10 foot pounds.
If you need a tool to remove the oil filter you have overtightened it
Where do I get one?
I got this one at O'Reilly's, you have to make sure you get the right size. It looks like you can get one that is adjustable to fit multiple makes & models.
The Socket type ones are fine - but you need one for every size of filter and number of flats and have to make sure to buy filters that actually have the flats on - so what's the point , more usefull for the plastic filter housings where that is the only correct tool if they don't have a hex head as well
Nearly all universal wrenches work fine unless the filter was overtightened or not change often enough , if you do your own changes and you have a problem you're the idiot.....
Whew the amount of ignorance on this video 🤯... 1) the oil wrench tool has been around for a very long time and defintely before Amazon (that was just a irrelevant comment). 2) if there is a such tool as a filter wrench that was invented, then it was invented for a reason and could be useful. Whether you need it or not, the video is to let those who might need the tool to be aware that there is a tool for it.
Its been on amazon for longer than your whole fucking life
I appreciate the compliment but I was born in the 80s.
You should be able to loosen it by hand. If not....some moron installed it.
why are tightening to point of needing a wrench?
I have never used one of those in my life if you need one of those to take it off you put it on way too tight oil filters don't have to be that tight I give a little tight snug haven't had a problem in 40 years
What are those used for? Can I take my alternator off with it?
They are used for taking the oil filter off easily.
I've had 1 of those 40 years. Got it from Big Lots 99¢. Mine actually has 2 sections that come apart for different size filters.
You do not have to put a piece of paper over the lettering of the brake cleaner saying brake cleaner we all know it's CRC brake cleaner the reason why I know I am a mechanic
if it’s normal don’t spray it, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
Don't worry about it. It's good for the rotors and pads.
Would that be CRC brake cleaner??
😂 You guessed it!
Could have used this. 😐
These videos charge me right up. Start my day!
I've got a spare tire I take with me everywhere I go. Know what mean? 🛞👕
i have no spare, nor do i even have a spot for one.
I had Sands Kia in Arizona lie to me straight faced that the new KIA Rio had a spare tire. I opened the trunk and looked before I left the lot and chewed him out. He even went and took my military license plate cover off while I was waiting. He tried to put it in his desk drawer right in front of me. I almost came unglued....Stealing to new heights. I had no choice but to trade in the other POS KIA Specta in on a new KIA Rio. The factory defect in the center of the radiator tank was not covered under warranty. I asked why? They said the radiator wasn't part of the cooling system..... I just started a new job with an hour each way and just got through a divorce.
I hope you're luck changes brother. Good luck on the divorce
Driving with no spare😂
If you have the room, use a full size spare.
Here's another tip: don't buy BS cars that don't have a spare
If you have one all i have is a fix a flat kit
Thanks. This got me charged up.
Do all cars have a starter relay
As far as we know, if the vehicle has an electric starter it will have a relay. There are some different methods out there like air starters for heavy trucks but generally speaking, yes.
Hey my man this was VERY helpful, thank you!
Glad we can help!
Nice relay 🥵
Where is my fuse box on a mustang ??
On Mustangs, most of the time they are located on the right side of the vehicle in the far front of the vehicle. The battery should be behind it.
Ugh
Good content
Yep. Rotate every oil change and keep them aired to 5 psi less than max on the tire and you will get a long life out of your tires.
an electic car no alternator what can i do ????
