This is insane! Lucky kids!!!
Nice I fixed the one I already had and added pieces of wood all around with a 45 degree angle to prevent the ball from getting stuck on the edges and on the far corners next to the goals just a tip it’s really not that big of a deal but it’s something I added to prevent the ball from getting stuck
Where are the pocket holes?😂 Good job.
What did you do to hold the screen in, just a wood bar or did you frame it?
How is it hold up after a few months, the finish in particular im curious about
Looking good
you mentioned you bought a lot of buttons, any prefrence or recommendation on a brand
Beautiful table!
Nice twist on the ordinary barrel arcade, like that you made it your own.
Would be cool to make the barrel like a Donkey Kong barrel to go with the theme.
nice build man. you make it look easy!
Very nice! You ve given me a couple of ideas for my own
I would love to have one like this, they kid s (and adults) wouldn t leave it alone. Nice
How as the wiring, heard its brutal in these things.
Sweet! I m planning to build my own foosball table too!
Ever thought a wall mount or table top one?
Where are the stools :)
A very nice looking table. A few playability suggestions for anyone wanting to build this from a lifelong Foosball player. The playfield is flat so when the ball stops in the corners, it is out of reach of any player. One goalie tables have banked corners so the ball rolls out of the corner. A flat surface table needs 3 goalie men. The outside men are installed where the goalie stop collars are. Also, it looks like there isn't enough room for the rods to be pushed all the way to the wall away from you without the handle hitting the outside of the table. Catching your finger between the handle and the side of the table is not fun at all. And if your putting the table somewhere where the floor is very unlevel you would need some kind of adjustable feet to level the playing field. I'd still love to play on it.
Like that you did it all by hand instead of CNC. HAND MADE ALL THE WAY!
Nice! Cheers!
Looking good, what did it weigh?
How did the wireless charges work? tried similar set on a regular board game table and didn't have much luck, ended up cutting holes and putting table top ones in.
Amazing. Hope to see more!
Love the track saw!!!! That's great that your little helper pops in and out and you let him get involved with you. Nice work!!! can't wait to see the chairs. Flipping from the traditional stand up barrel arcade on its side was a unique touch. I like it👍👍
Nice👍, that's a great way to play the electronic games from our childhood year's. Just a thought regarding the two chair's that you're going to be building to match the gaming table. How about trying to wire the chair's upto a vibration device? That way, when the game vibrates as they do in some of the old games then the players will feel it in their bodies as well as their hands etc 🤔🤪. That'll surely surprise the children. As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
Currently building an arcade myself, not wine barrel just table top. Question does the screen automatically flip side to side for 2P games? Would love a tech side video of the electronic hookup if your going to make one.
what did you final height come out to, looking to do a vertical one but seems very high when sitting next to the barrel standing up.
Final height was 30” standard table top height, initially had it about 36” when i was thinking i was going to do higher bar stools but then decided to go standard chair height so cut it down. 30 is a good height for the standard chair height or in my case for kids who like to stand around it and play.
Iron Acetate solution will last a few months before it starts losing strength. In my experience tea mixture will mold after a few days. I do my tea wash separate for that reason.
i've heard that before but i do mine similar to his here just mixing them all together. so do you do tea first them come back with steel wool and vinegar
yes tea wash first - sometimes two coats - then iron solution. This also raises the grain so a light sand after the tea.
Fire!!! Thats sweet! Why only 60 in 1? could have gone hardcore with a retro pi or something. unless you are really going for that retro vibe. In any case love it.
Another great job Pat!
Love it, bought a similar one and paid a small fortune, wish i could make my own like that
Can't wait for the full video, if thats the style your going for I love it
Great Work Pat!
Sweet build, walnut looks awesome, i would have went with a sports logo in the center (Go Bears!) but Simpson's works.
How did you make it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome build, it came out great.
that thing is awesome. I hope you keep making new videos in the future. I'm not sure what color I would have chosen, but after seeing the yellow, it feels right. 2 things on my list of stuff to build are a foosball table and a mame arcade cabinet. So I'm really hoping you publish a video with your wine barrel arcade machine.
Awesome table. Love the simpsons logo in the center
