A BiG Yes from me, and first question and not the last if you answer the first, who's the sponsor to build this stations - Geely company, company who's concrete producer, state,or mix of 50/50 and so on? There could be oportunity for Geely to have similar technology examples for passenger cars in future with Battery like a service using to add to PHEV instead of engine with swap battery in the same place where engine is sitting and it could be sliding from the side or coming from top side of the car too - for Example BMW I3 with Range Extender could get replacement battery instead of the engine - the question mark is who's building the swapping station and who is building car with that tech,if Geely does all this job and finds customers who can't afford expensive big EV batteries or would like to swap this car after 3 years for renewed version

I find one thing to be oddly suspicious, China's market is really growing abroad. But when we see the normal day to day traffic in China it is filled with European/Japanese cars, from kei cars to trucks. Why would nationalistic Chinese rather buy heavy maintenance German cars instead of their much "reliable" Chinese cars?

Similar to Italy: in Italy (only on the north because we care more about the environment than the south) you need to pay a tax to drive around your city if you have a gasoline car. If yoi have an Hybrid (every type of Hybrid) car, you need to pay only one part (called "Area") to drive. Then, if you have an electric car you're free from all of this and you don't pay the assistance for it!

5k is a dream price, thats only a little more than the high grade moped, but you are protected from rain and cold and you have space for a passenger and some cargo, its genius. Sadly enough, I'm sure it'll be near 20k in Europe, what doesn't make it worth it when you can pick up a second-hand Fiat 500 for 5k or even a Mini. Sure, not electrical, but it drives.
