Megumi's Role in the Ending of Jujutsu Kaisen

People complain about JJK ending too much. And everyone wanted something of their own, someone wanted merger to happen, someone wanted Yuji to overdramaricaly do the final getsuga tensho or something. I find it more valuable to see the ending that Gege chose. He clearly didn't know how exactly he is ending the manga when he was at the start or at the middle and it brings unique experience of witnessing a change in someone's worldview and mind as you read the story that they created for years. He went from wanting to kill everyone or Yuji in the end to barely any casualties among sorcerers by Sukuna and it has some kind of hope and sweetness to it. Like we knew how cruel the world can be so when the worst didn't happen that was more impactful then simply good ending. It wasn't a story about Gojo, it wasn't a story about Kenjaku recreating Evangelion, but it is about the things a man, the author, wanted it to be about and it will always remain what it is no matter what anyone imagines in their head. (Nevermind simple domain bullshit, that was a page farm from Gege for sure...)
I read chainsaw man by the volume and I love the fact I almost never see leaks for it
Bro are you really trying to argue they physically cannot write a good ending? Thats so stupid
Berserk will have it. If it ever actually ends berserk will have the perfect ending(yes I know it’s not Shonen but it’s still a battle manga)
Just realized, that Gojo stole Toji's outfit for his fight against Sukuna.
I binged jjk within the last 6 months and loved it. I honestly thought Gojo would...well my reaction helped fuel my love of the ending
Are they really paradox when most of them rush their ending because of the author's health decline? They overwork for like 5 years straight.
You're so underrated
AOT ending is trash
Shonen series aren’t really designed to end. Theyre designed to go on for a long time.
AoT had one of the worst endings I ever had the displeasure of reading. Thanks for nothing shippers
I think jjk will probably be redeemed by time, when people watch the next season without this immediate need to criticized and shit on it
Honestly for me JJK the ending wasn't really that bad, it only signified the end of the story which made me realize, no gege is not fixing a bunch of flaws about the story. Which in turn just made me realize that like 80% of the 2nd half of the manga was just straight ass, story and execution wise. Really wish gege started jjk later into his career, could have been so much more than it ended up being.
I personally enjoyed JJK’s ending. Good video by the way.
It's beautiful brother ❤ You deserve millions of views It's a fan request but can you do also dive on fujimoto as whole like not just csm and fire funch but as a person whose referred to as a genius
one of the last videos on my watch later that has been stuck there for a long time, since i hadnt watched dune yet. it was worth waiting until i watched it. this video compared these characters really well
This is the greatest yt video ever. Thanks for taking your time to do this video. I cried so much😭😭
thank you so much for watching!
You know i think i love both ending of anime and manga by title Black cat by Yakuki Kentaro (you know the infamous created toloveru and darling in the Fraxx)........ The different ending in manga and anime is In manga i was happy these trio Eve Sven and Train together as sweeper (bounty Hunter) but in anime Eve goes with Sven pursuit Normal life meanwhile Train separate live freely as wild black cat
I've always like the ending of YuYu Hakusho. Seeing everyone move on and Yusuke finding himself felt right with me. Especially how the anime portrays it. It gives me the feeling that everything will be alright even though there might be challenges in the future. Especially Kuwabara who finlly got away from fightingcto focus on what he wanted to do.
ahhh so this is why oda is dragging some arcs out to be as long as possible, so when he says itll end in 5 years iits always a lie, makes sense why risk having the most sold manga ever flop at the ending
People are really dumb. Hate is the easiest emotion to embrace and share, especially if seeking attention. They also have the comfort in knowing someone won't attack them for enjoying something because apparently that is a thing humans feel the need to do.
I never seen a video explain eren yeager so understandably and logically well then this.
One Piece will end fine what a best nail for the shonen jump coffin than One Piece leaving a shadow the other mangas can not outshine.
Nah, They just bad!
The part where you talked about "The Blade is Me" and the OST you chose was so perfect
0:26 1:40 "HE IS LITERALLY M-" Why did that make me laugh so hard?
Toriko having a "bad" ending is a wild ass hot take
I love all kinds of manga be it Shonen, Shoujo, Seinen or Josei. As long as the stories good it doesn't matter to me if its meant for girls or boys. There are so many good Shoujo titles i absolutely love such as Nana, Banana Fish, Yona of the Dawn, Kids on the Slope and Machida-kun no Sekai. These are stories that touched my so called MANLY soul simply because of how real they fkin were. Def recommend reading shoujo if you haven't its an amazing genre and has many good stories if you search around.
Better than having a bad everything like demon slayer
I stop reading before most of them end. I'll get around to the ending when I eventually watch the anime.
Ok Im not saying steel ball run manga as its only getting an english translation but the ending is Peak Peaker Then Peak
Personaly, I wanted everyone to die in AOT. I never wanted a happy ending. I remember watching season 2 back in 2018. Thinking the end was going to be tragic and the cast would be like armin and mikasa alive but everyone else dead.
Mangaka need to have their figured out in advance
Done done makes you think it’s a wacky zany action series, but tricks you because it’s a shojo romance. Then it tricks you again because it’s actually a story about honest human connections.
I find it funny you saying people liked the ending of Sopranos when the reverse has been true for so many years after it was released. I can only name 2 series that ended with the fans satisfied immediately. Meanwhile Song of Fire and Ice refuses to conclude due to George's fear of the reception to his ending (and be labeled a hypocrite due to his Vocal Criticisms of Lost's ending, one that is actually wrong because THE FLASH SIDEWAYS IN THE LAST SEASON ARE THE AFTERLIFE, NOT THE ISLAND! THE ISLAND IS REAL AND ON THIS PLANE OF REALITY). Ironically The Dark Tower tried to avoid this by implying a time loop for the main character, meaning there is technically no ending, and people resented Stephen King for Decades and some still do.
4:13 don't think I didn't hear that. Change those batteries.
great video!! I adore Fruits basket and its psychology
Least insane dandadan fan: (I'm insane af)
👍🏾
How is the We Never Learn ending not bad? He took the easy way out
Dunno haven’t read it.
banger content <:
Other interesting fact is that Momo was supposed to be *the* main character, but his editor was afraid readers wouldn't respond well so he boosted Okarun's role and it ended up being one of the best shonen romances in recent memory.
the plot armor complaints about Sukuna were so silly. He's the main villain and main villains tend to seem unbeatable or to have "plot armor" until right before their defeat. That's a general plot arc for main villains
the shojo is not why its good. its there but its not that deep
great video!
Crazy that we say ending of aot is great when all mappa did was sprinkle some music and animation onto poop, its still poop bro
holy shit this was peak
I'm glad you brought up John Werry in the offical translation section of the vid, and from now on that image of a man in a creepy runner mask will always be how i imagine him. But honestly I don't think it's fair to criticize the way he translated Nobara's return. While it isn't text accurate to the japanese release, the scene it was referencing from the Kyoto event arc (translated by a different translator) also wasn't accurate to the japanese text. In that scene Yuji just says "gotcha" instead of the oppapi line. In this particular instance John Werry chose to have Nobara reference the previous english line of "gotcha" for the sake of consistency with prior translation. I think that makes sense, and still carries the spirit of the call back. Conversely, I think if John Werry still had her make the opappi joke, it actually would have lost that spirit, since it wouldn't actually be calling back to yuji's previous english dialogue. I also wanted to mention that, while the "Nah I'd win" line was originally translated as a simple "No." Viz DID actually go back and change that one, like pretty quick We should really focus on the stuff where Werry is just straight up wrong, and making translations that straight up contradict the story, my personal favorite is "He hasn't been able to heal his wounds because of reverse curse technique"
Kimetsu no Yaiba had a bad ending??? Where???
I feel like st. Germain will be the foil to the theme of the importance of normality. He is on some 500 year quest for ultimate knowledge and as a result he has become distant and cold and doesn’t know how to talk to others. It would also tie into his speech about metronomes and how you eventually become in synch with the environment you surround yourself with.
