I never comment on these videos, as I feel they are so personal to the families and truly im just some lady on the west coast and no one asked for my opinion....but I just feel so compelled (if that's even the right word?) You all are so sweet and patient. I so much love how you gave sweet girl time to warm up to you before hugging and grabbing for her ,(this is in no way negative to any other family), I can't even begin to imagine the emotions that must be flowing meeting your baby for the first time.... Every move made was slow and gentle. Even when wiping her tear, You took your time not to startle or scare her. When baba Was laying with her on the bed, trying to comfort her, and he was crying, my heart broke.... You can see how much you all love Delaney, And how you were willing to do whatever it took no matter how long it took to gain her love and trust♡ Thank you so much for sharing your story. And I know this was 8 years ago, but I truly hope everyone is doing well.
One couple was stupid they tried their kid traffic jam that is quite a stupid name I thought about that and then I realized it has to do with like a head on collision
She’s beautiful. I can’t believe she didn’t want to go to y’all at first. she thought she was being kidnapped I guess nope it was just her parents grabbing her. I have a friend who got married straight out of high school my friend Viviana did yeah she’s Spanish. Her husband is Vietnamese now they’re expecting their first child. They might’ve already had her. They’re having her suggestion. My friend said she might use it
Because they can't. There are so many children and a very small staff. They just don't have time to do all the sweet little things most of us do with our kids

I have such mixed feelings... Adoption is a beautiful thing and this child will have a wonderful life with her loving parents. However I can't help feeling so much GRIEF for her! She is being removed from her country, her culture... she has lost her name and given an American name; she will forget her language, everything about her previous identity. I wish International adoption wasn't needed... but I recognise it is the best solution if there are no local adopters available.
I feel far more grief for the children who stay. They have only the most basic needs met, no love, no attention and age out as young teens and are left to the streets with virtually no education or skill. My sweet girl blossomed. She's now a happy healthy grad student with lots of friends and a close relationship with us and her siblings. She loves her life. Those who never have this.... Those are the ones you grieve for

I wonder if China has the same believe all in Philippines that when a child reach one year old, the hair going to be shaved. It suppose to grow fuller. I'm just thinking.
I don’t understand why they shave the little girls heads. My sister asked me that question because her best friends daughters head was shaved also. Is there a reason or do they just do it so they don’t have to deal with putting the hair up? This little girl is so cute!

I wonder why so many times when we see new parents going overseas to bring home their baby, their hair has been shaved?
Lice, Orphanages save money on lice treatments by shaving heads. unless you mean parents, who are mostly bold by western diet?
Many children, few staff and risk of lice. They don't have the time to do anything else

They are trying to prevent lice and they just don't have the time to deal with hair with so many babies and so few caretakers
