Hola Cómo lo puedo conseguir en Perú?
I’m not sure sorry
Does it hurt ???
Not at all 😊
did any read side effects
Thank you so much for this I just got switched from humira
Best of luck with it!
Thank u get well soon 🌷
Thank you very much
Thanks for sharing, I'm about to start this treatment for Ankylosing spondylitis.
Hello, Is Humira better than Amgevita? Thanks you
Nice!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ok
Hey everyone- this video was made during a flare. 3 years on, here's an update about Amgevita/Adalimumab & where I am with my chronic illness now: xruclips.net/video/RVUHi2QoJ6Y/видео.html
We can't thank you enough for your video, it is straight forward and laid back. My son is 13 and we are giving him his first injection today and he watched your video and it helped settled him. We wish you all the best.
I’m so so humbled to know this has helped you both. What a warrior in the making to be doing this so young, please pass on my awe to him. Hoping he experiences long term remission on this
Thank you so much for the video! This was really helpful to watch and feel a bit more comfortable about the process before doing my first one today! I've been on methotrexate for my rheumatoid arthritis since I was a kid and went into remission once... But I'm back and seeing no improvement so I'm starting Amgevita today to hopefully see some better results again :) I hope your journey is going well 💕 wish me luck!
The first few are always daunting, but you soon start going into autopilot with it. Similar to when you’re taking tablets. I used to be on a similar drug to methotrexate & also enjoyed a period of remission. It’s always disheartening when you stop being responsive to what once worked, but the sooner you take action, the better!
Thank you for a wonderful video. The official videos aren't very helpful
Cheers! I agree, if I was still on Amgevita I’d definitely upload another one so it’s clearer, but glad it’s helping regardless.
Thank you for this. I suffer with the rarest form of arthritis called ankylosing spondalitus and unfortunately for me I cannot turn my head much, bend my back or stand properly or for too long for 5 years. I'll be going onto this next week with the thoughts I may have to move onto something stronger ... thanks hun.
Learning to cope with living with a chronic illness/hidden disability is so tough as it is, so having a rare one must be relentless. I hope this eases your burden
Thanx so much! I just did my second jab and was scared I did it wrong, as I did my first one under the supervision of my nurse. I think I succeeded :D
Woooo! I’m sure you did it just fine, hope this works for you
Thankyou soo much!!!! 💓 i
You’re welcome ☺️
Thanks a lot. Its really hard to find a proper guide for using this one.
I wish I had filmed this in landscape, but hey hindsight is a wonderful thing
@@AliciaRDillon. Still amazing. Have a great day.
Thanks for the Video, i messaged you on instagram if you dont mind me asking a few questions :)
I have Arthritis and I’ve been on Enbrel (another biologic) for four years now but I’ve been in a flare for a year so we are swapping to Amgevita soon. When I first started Enbrel I got the same site reactions that you mentioned but they got worse and worse for me (the last one I took, my leg was rock hard and the reaction was massive) so I swapped to a version of Enbrel where you mix it up yourself and that worked well. I’m now worried I am going to get the same reactions with this (I’m having the syringe version) but only time will tell I guess…
I hope you didn’t experience a similar reaction with Amgevita. It’s really hard to try new things when a bad experience clouds it. Well done for even being willing to explore new options, it can be really daunting. Wishing you the best
Yo también utilizo amgevita40. Muchas fuerzas
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
I watch this every time I'm doing my injection, do it at same time you do as I find it hard otherwise
Ahh what an honour to know this helps someone do theirs!! Hope you’ve found positives from this treatment
Thanks for posting this for us. I've used HUMIRA for many years, without side effects, for psoriatic arthritis. I'm in remission. It's been such a successful drug for me that I've run been able to run half-marathons. But today, I did my first 'Amgevita' injection. My chemist dispensed it instead of HUMIRA. I don't know why. But I thought I'd try it and compare the injection experience. It didn't sting at all. HUMIRA stings 9/10 times (OMG! It can be really bad). So I'm hoping my next Amgevita injection in two weeks' time doesn't sting either, and there are no unpleasant side effects. Thanks again.
It’s great you’ve had an effect treatment for so long! What a happy surprise that you got to use Amgevita too.
RUclips MYKEYCARD
Thanks for posting, I was on Stelara for 3 years, switched to Kyntheum for 5 months and I've started Amgevita a couple of weeks ago for psoriatic arthritis....hope it works....fingers crossed.....thanks again... it's disappointing to see some thumbs down as all you are doing is helping others like me.... I hope you are keeping well.....
One of the worse parts of having a chronic illness is having to go through the whole trial and error. That in itself is exhausting, I hope you got there
Thank you
No problem!
Nice work on this, Alicia!
Thank you!!
Hi, I’d like to contact you, how could I do that? Thank you!
Hey, I’m only just revisiting using RUclips so sorry I missed this. Hope you found answers elsewhere ☺️
What about dosage of each shot
Each injection was 40mg, I had this every two weeks at first, after the loading dose, then every week. I eventually went to biweekly however needed to go back to every week
Hey, thanks for this, I am about to start on Amgevita in a couple of weeks and your video is reassuring .hope you are well 🤗
Thank you! Hope it did the trick for you
Ilk kez kullandım inşallah faydasını görürüm
Ne icin kullanıyorsun kardeşim bende iki hafta sonra vuracam daha önce imraldi ide ondan önce humira di şimdi de buna geçtim geçmiş olsun
Many thanks for posting this - like many on here I was a Humira user & switched to Amjevita - your video was really helpful I was a little anxious about switching because I always found Humira quite painful but I have found Amjevita totally painless & just as effective . I have mentioned your Youztube post to the Rheumatology & Uveitis teams at the clinics I attend in Sheffield in the hope that it might provide some help & reassurance to their new patients - Well done & thank you 👍
oh wow, thanks so much for your kind words and mentioning it to your team. Its always helpful hearing/seeing other peoples positive experiences. Hope you're well x
Thanks so much for posting this I've just switched over from humira fingers and toes crossed it works as well
hope it worked for you too x
@@AliciaRDillon. yes it has thank heaven a little tired in the afternoon but I'm in good health otherwise x
Peace be upon you, I am from Morocco, I am sick with ankylosing spondylitis, and I need medication. Please, I need help 0675276861
What a beautiful scene this is!! Martha was a BRILLIANT companion :D
Agreed!! Rose was my fave though :)
@@AliciaRDillon. Rose was awesome too! :D
Thank you for doing this video I am autistic and have epilepsy do you know that there is a disabled toilet key? And an app to show you where the nearest disabled toilets are to your location? Look on the App Store to look for changing places toilets and click on download hope this helps
yes radar key & flush app are such good tools for being out and about. Thanks for sharing x
Start injecting in your stomach its a lot better with a lot more fat than your thigh trust me .
I alternate between the two :)
Trust me stick to your Gut what dose are u on if u don`t mind me asking am on 25ml twice monthly Bad enough without the Pandemic got 2stay positive.
@@1149LORENZO I’m on 40mg weekly however I’m now going to start biweekly 🤞🏻
@@AliciaRDillon. Sorry i got it wrong i take 40 ml every 2 weeks. Been on it for about a year but starting to get problems with my vision and dizziness but the thought of coming off it is worse. Hope you and your loved ones stay safe during this awful pandemic.
I'm autistic and wear one in supermarkets. I don't find it a friendly environment with the music and bright lights and it can take me ages to find every item. However if the staff see the lanyard they will show me where allot of things are quickly and make sure the items are what I want. This is exactly what I need.
It's so great to see more and more supermarkets are advocating this lanyard, glad to know you've had positive experience x
Thanks for sharing. Recently swapped onto Amgevita, and forgot exact injection procedure (whether or not to remove the yellow cap!). And no longer have instructions sheet. So this vid was helpful. Thanks again, best, Seb
Ahh so happy to hear this worked! Best of luck to you x
Thanks so much for sharing this, I'm starting this treatment soon and was so apprehensive about it, your positive experience of it is so reassuring to hear. Really appreciated this 👌
I hope this worked for you too!
Can I ask you about the 30 gel pack you mentioned about we are going away so travelling in the car for 8 hours so need to put the injections with us but would need to put them back in the fridge because we won’t be using them until the following week so you have any suggestions for keeping it at fridge temperature to be able to put it back in the fridge.
i have to inject it myself and i am so scared i don’t want to do it
Zee x it really is okay and super quick! I’m uploading another video today as I’ve been doing it a year now. Hope it’ll help you 😘
I'm travelling soon and need a lanyard for a medical condition. I fly from Manchester to Heathrow and then to the states. I was wondering whether we have to give the lanyard back, so when I come back to Manchester after my trip do I return it?
Leigh Richardson hey! Once you have the lanyard you can keep it for future use :)
That hurts more then Humira Is that normal?
I’ve seen that this actually hurts less. I’m someone who hates pain and i’ve never really injected myself, but i gave this injection a go last week and i actually got worked up for no reason because it didn’t hurt at all
This wasn’t my experience as there was no citrate, people experience differently tho
I have one because my learning difficulties
taylors fam same
Hope you’re finding it useful!
Thanks so much for this, I had been on Humira for quite a few years and earlier this year switched to Imraldi - the first 'bio similar' - its been awful, the citrate in the pen - and delivery mechanism have meant I cannot self inject. Its agony. After a trip to the hospital yesterday they suggested this, basically the same without the citrate so hopefully no burning! Thanks again, very reassuring!
I know it’s two years later but I just want to say thank you for your kind words and I hope you had success with this!
Would it be alright for people with anxiety and depression
Yes it would be :)
Thank you 😊 I was really worried that if i asked for one it might not really be ok for me to wear it thank you so much x 😊😊
Thank you for your feedback. I am flying in 2 weeks and received mine by the post. Hopefully I won't need the full assistance by then on the top of the lanyard. Hope that the airports I am going to will recognize that too.
I hope you have a positive experience too!
Much love❤️
thank you!
Thanks so much for doing this, I've been swapped onto amgevita from humira and I haven't found any other information about how to use this pen, but it looks pretty similar. this has been super reassuring!
Maz ahhh thanks for the feedback & I’m so glad you found it helpful. Hopefully you find Amgevita works for you
@@AliciaRDillon. I've had my first amgevita shot now and I actually found it incredibly painful in comparison to humira :( hopefully this is something that'll go away the more I take it
Hi, I found it more painful than Humira too, although if you numb the area with ice first it is almost painless 👍🏻
@@pittsy98 it's been less painful since the first time I tried! I think that either I caught a blood vessel or I just wasn't expecting any pain and slightly shocked myself, but it's a little better now though 😊 thanks for the tip!
@@pittsy98 sorry to hear it's painful for you! Hopefully the numbing will continue to do the trick for you
Thanks for your video. I am about to change over from Humera so keen to see the differences. Great video well done!
Brian Bann hope the Amgevita works as well for you too!
Good day! Thank`s for your video! Could you, plz, tell me, where I can buy Amgevita?
Тарас Попельницький sorry, I live in the UK so I’m fortunate enough to receive this treatment through our amazing NHS
