The best video ive watched on manual entries and why. Clearly shows the progression and then highlights the finished date line is ok'd and goes to the top. The top i found the mosr imformative is the selection of no to save date and go back to the beginning, i assumed it deleted the entry but actually ,it allows one to review each individual entry you've entered prior to saving rhe data. 10/10 for a clear imformative explanation .
how do i set a tacho card for the very first time
One of the few times to use the ? symbol, insert the card, it's will show date of issue, not card last used, just enter ? until the start of duty then Other Work.
thanks buddy. i was denied gr8 job last year for failing manual entries test. i will have one on wednesday for same job. im pretty sure i will nail it this time
Hope it went well
I have a question. When we remove the tacho card at weekend and again insert it at the beginning of the week the tacho machine shows the last time of withdrawal and time of making manual entry. I want to know, does it shows the total time for which the tacho card was out of the machine??
No, you work that out yourself.
Very useful video. Thank you sharing
Best one I've watched. Exactly what I needed . Thankyou
We don’t do all what you are doing just finish and start times this video is so confusing 😮
How did you do your tacho training? Mine was done online which I don't think is ideal. I also find it confusing
Really helpful. This is the best video on manual entries that I've watched so far. I've just started as an HGV driver and nearly always choose the "No" option when i finish doing a manual entry so i can just double check that i haven't made any mistakes. I've almost put a daily rest period in as "other work" and caught it and corrected it during the double check.
It’s easy once you’ve done it a few times
Struggling to pack mine away … would be great to see the folding part . Cheers though , least I can see it can be done haha 😂
Any chance you can show me how you change setting for when you turn ignition off that it gose to work instead of rest?
Can you pack away the two person kayak
left the card in last night. and will need to do a manual entry. seems if I take the card out and then start my day doing a manual entry first as seen here, I shouldn't have a problem.
Nice video dude🙌
Best one I’ve seen I’ve watched loads, by far the best one I’ve seen.
Very good vid, especially the option to go back and review entries - thanks for the effort
And it’s as simple as that. Good man and thanks for taking the time to do this Vlog. 😊👍 _ _ _ 🚛 _ _ _
Nice one bud. Some good clarification for new drivers. Very digestible and easy to follow👍👍
Many thanks. Described perfectly. 👍
I cant understand
Jesus Christ... New driver here and these regulations and tachograph are so confusing. Oh my God.
Thanks for taking the time to review this I'm just about to get one and you seem to give an honest review.. Cheers
What is that ITS an VDO data that u click yes on? I'm sure I've been told to click no on them?
I have that on a Mercedes and just no them
Danke
Hi, thanks for your videos on the Story, I am thinking about buying one. Can you tell me what size is the bag when everything is inside it?
This may help ruclips.net/video/HC1bei3IBuY/видео.html

Thanks for your videos on the Story Kayak mate, they've been super helpful!
Great reviews on your videos, really helpful as I stumbled across this brand and the spec seems fantastic. Thanks for doing them! How was the pressure gauge on the pump? Is it worth getting a separate one to go with it? Any recommendations on that front?
Pump was fine in the end.
Hi, Great video. Informative and super clear/concise/useful. :) I am close to buying the Story 2-person kayak. Spent a week looking at these DSK's. My niggling concern is how the Story 2 person will paddle with 1 person. Mostly i will use a friend and a dog but 40% of the time i'll be on my own. I was looking at the Bluewave glider 2 person as Dave who has several utube reviews of it mostly uses as a single person and it works well, however its not avail until mid-august and im going to Sweden/Denmark on 4th August. My concern is that; it looks like there is slightly different D ring position between the Story 2 person and the Bluewave glider 2 person, i can see the the Glider works but without a review i'm less confident of the Story in this regard/finding a good seating position for single person paddling in the Story difficult. I can't find any u tube vids of the Story 2 person. Don't suppose you know anyone using the Story 2 person and paddling as 1 person? any opinions?
Hi Paul, have a look at ruclips.net/video/uAlnDac7yA4/видео.html there's a few other reviews on the Story now, which all seem to be on the positive side. Safe padding.
@@stewielgv Thanks dude. :) I have watched that vid. Its a good video and deffo useful RE general quality of the Story..but.. its single person. I can't find any detailed reviews of the 2 peson version. If i buy and its total crap for single person paddling (which ill do some of the time) would be somewhat frustrating. I prob just get the Bluewave glider but outa stock.
@@MrPaolosio I think you may find any large 2 tandem kayak a bit cumbersome to use solo. I have used a tandem as solo (not the Story or Blue Wave though). It is possible, but these drop stitch kayaks are much heavier than conventional inflatables to carry/portage
Hi, how do you manage to keep the pump nozzle in when inflating? My son needs to hold the nozzle constantly when inflating. I do not know how to manage otherwise.
Make sure it's the correct pump fitting, the Gumotex has a longer nozzle, the valve button needs to be in the closed position then just insert and twist until its locked in.
I have been having this problem aswell , quite annoying as everything else has been good
I figured it out ,once u put the pump fixing in make sure it's turned properly , u need to put a bit if force agains it to lock it in , now it's fine !!
Hi - thanks for the video. What's the Story made from; is it PVC or from a much stronger material like the Gomotex? Which would you say is the better kayak re price, quality, likely durability?
Do they sell these in America. I am very interested in the drop stitch technology thanks Yankee Tim
Plenty of dropstich companies over the pond to choose from, you would have contact Euroskateshop about the Story.
Fab. Thanks for posting. We just got the 2 person version. Very impressed with build quality and design, but that’s before getting it wet yet. Can’t wait to try it out during Easter hols. Was hoping the booster seat would aid comfort, but sounds like that may be at the cost of a proper soaking! Would you recommend any beginner routes for close to London?
Don't know about London, but there's a nice stretch starting from Guildford.
Thanks, looks like a nice full drop stitch kayak. Do you know how high the seat booster is? From the pictures, appears to be about 5-6cm high? I don't think the booster could be used on the sea where there is usually buffeting from the waves, really would not fancy getting tipped over. Unless it's an optical illusion, the Story seemed to glide straighter than the Gumotex which appeared to sway side to side a bit more with each paddle stroke. I guess this may be due to the Gumtoex not being drop stitch. I think the main question is how you found the Story vs the Gumotex to paddle, given they are similar sizes but are made from different materials. Did you find that the drop stitch construction made the Story comparable to a hard shell?
Yep the booster seat is about 7cms (I'll measure it next time I'm out. ) Both of the kayaks are good, but the Story has it for speed and tracking, I'm going to head out with my wetsuit on and tip the kayak, see how easy it is to re-enter as it is quite high sided. I'm quite keen on seeing how it handles on slightly rougher waters, no white water... Lol I haven't paddled a rigid kayak in years and that was in rougher conditions, but I would say for what the kayak is designed for ie easy leisure use, its on a par.
@@stewielgv Thanks for your answers, much appreciated. Yes, be interesting to see how the Story copes on the sea, we do not go out if it's very rough but often times it can get more choppy than we anticipated. We do rivers too but not white water, we're too cowardly for that!
I recently bought the same kayak. Thanks for sharing your experience. Without the cushion how comfortable was the seat, what was the longest stint you paddled for? Not tried that canal, where abouts were you, apart from a licence, did you have to book or alert anyone? Bit nervous about locks.
Paddled for about 3 hours, just up and down the Wey and Arun canal at Loxwood, there's probably about 5 or 6 locks, but there not operational, as with most locks it's easier to get out and walk to the other side. The seat was fine, the booster is more for hight than comfort. Didn't have to book with anyone and the car park was free.
@@stewielgv Sounds great. I'm defo gonna give that a go. BTW what psi did you have the kayak at, I recall in your other vid you were not convinced by the pump reading...should it be 11 ? Did you need to show your licence or was that spot fairly quiet? 🤔
@@doose8187 10psi, I pump to the start of the green zone on the pressure gauge.
I found it very tipsy today with the seat fully on , are you just sitting in they kayak with no seat now ? How u finding it
@@artsy38 Planning my first paddle this afternoon, will go without the seat initially.
Wow! Is that seriously the Gumotex packed away next to it at the end? It can't be that small surely? 🤔 Looks like a very good kayak for that price but I'm not so keen on the tipiness.
Only that tippy if the booster seat is used.
Yes - I have the Twist 2/1 and it really does pack away that small but ......... it takes some doing lol
@@stewielgv I did remove the booster seat from my Bluewave Glider and whilst it definitely improved things I still didn't feel I could relax or make any sudden movements. I'm 6ft 3" so don't have a very low center of gravity. I'm probably going to get a 2 person hybrid with tubed sides but will persevere with the Glider and see how I get on.
Just fold n roll, tie up, simples, I am an old school truck driver, so use to folding tarps up... 🤔🤣
@@stewielgv yes I took off the booster seat and it was much better . Still seems a little bit tippy mind u however the more I go they kayak the more confident and balanced I become. Seems good for canals etc
Thanks for RUclips review. Its very helpful content.
Did you manage to get it out on water yet?
Looking to get out Sunday.
Great video. Has anyone taken this out on the water? How was it?
Can't wait weather and work getting in the way at the moment. I'll post a first paddle clip up.

Thanks, does the bag have wheels on it? It looks like it maybe did in the video but was not sure. I was thinking of getting either the 350cm one or the 325cm one which seems to be aboput 4KG lighter but strangely 6cm wider (than the 350cm one) which seems a bit dubious.
Hi yep the bag does have wheels, this clip may help ruclips.net/video/HC1bei3IBuY/видео.html
Thanks for the video. I have just ordered one today and took a punt on it given that it's competitive price agains other known brands. It seems to be of a very similar UK and international suppliers. Looking forward to seeing how it handles on the water!!
Thanks a lot for your information, Im thinking in order the Story 3 person kayak, there is such a lack of information on internet.... Im guessing what is the manufacturer, if any of you know this information please share to the community
Looks like could be a Chinese company Reihoung Marine. The seem to make them with slightly different specs for dinfferent retail brands.
thanks a lot mate, unfortunately the sales finish today, bad luck , next time
@@omakonekoti4712 not them - I tried
I ordered one yesterday it will ship today :) first video i saw of the story brand.
also ordered one... how do you like yours?
@@briglnai i took it for a ride tuesday with my son of 11 and alone. It's nice
Thanks this is the only video or info I can find on this kayak, I took a chance ordering it for a low price thought I had been scammed, but video helped, hopefully euroskateshop send it out , I had no email confirmation but they took payment 🤦😆 it looks good though
also ordered one there... did everything went well? how do you like the kajak?
Thank you. Look forward to you testing it on the water!
Nice video thanks! Was struggling to find details on this Kayak so your video was really helpful.
