Our air bnb was not too far from the downtown area of this town. It had a very intriguing look to it so I had check it out.

On this day we walked around the small pretty town of Fayetteville, WV as well as the town near ghost town status, Thurmond.

Found what was an old abandoned banquet hall and event venue called Ciudad Maya right outside of our air bnb. There isn't a whole lot of info on it, other than it was active during the 70s and shuttered during the financial crisis in the 80s.
