VTA Light Rail 49er’s Special Event Train (Mountain View-Great America) [CAB VIEW]
Take a ride with us on the last Levi’s Stadium special event train of the year from Mountain View to Great America! This train continues to Gish station, but it got dark and I've covered that section of the line many times so there was no point in recording it.
Car consist: 901, 920, 927 (in order)

The holiday trolley is finally back this year after about a 5 year hiatus! Lots of excitement this weekend since people were surprised by a vintage trolley instead of the usual light rail vehicles. This was my first time seeing and riding the holly trolley (considering the fact I've been riding VTA my whole life) so it was extremely fun. Take a ride with us on the Levi’s Stadium special event train! This route has a bit of a twist since trains make a left turn westbound instead of terminating at Baypointe station. First time seeing the new Caltrain EMUs in service! The bells and horns sound really nice. I kinda planned this poorly since I left the house a little late and only caught a few. Will come back for more though.

What do i need to get on and how many are there
It's free, will be running again next weekend between civic center and diridon between roughly 3-9pm as long as it doesn't rain. Only this car will be running.

Rainy weather sucks, but hopefully I can do a front view on lightrail - just have to find a willing driver to do so!
You can try to do it, but don’t distract the operator. Although most of them have the cab window blocked or have the window shade blocking the view.

Camera set too much at downward angle, shouldn't be pointed towards tracks
He has like a 1 inch space to work with through a tiny window on the back of the closed cab door all while holding it there for a full hour

Yeah the factory is located in Fremont. Everywhere you go in the Bay Area is pretty much infested with teslas 😂

Combination of automatic block signal territory and dark territory that uses red and lunar bar signals
There's no positive train control like other systems such as Max in Portland

The bar signal territory is where the signals aren't automatic. Some have priorty while others are on a useless cycle with the other traffic signals @AirAttackTransit
