Have you tried something like: Astrologer no lvl-up, no hit taken, no flask, no great-rune, no armor, no FP usage, no int-weapons run? (This should be slightly worse than Lv1 runs, but only slightly. 9 endurance, 8 str, compared to wretch, but has 12 dex instead.) Also, what about the contrary, something like: Hero no lvl-up, no hit taken, no flask except cerulean, no great-rune, no armor, no weapon strike, no weapon skill, no incantation. (The only non-basic action you can do is cast sorceries, and drink cerulean flask. Maybe riding Torrent is not allowed during boss fights, idk. I mean, sorceries are ranged stuff, so why Torrent is usable. Hero starts with 9 Mind and 7 Int. To cast sorcery, he requires equipping stat-boosting talismans. But armors are not allowed, so no stat boost from armors.) Maybe you're interested trying the Hero sorcery one? That is something really different than what people is doing haha. Curious if such thing can even be done until the end of NG+7. This run has its clear limitation, that is, FP and cerulean flask charges. I know Carian Slicer is the most FP-efficient sorcery there is, but you can have as many sorceries as you want as long as the character can use it. Maybe add time to the mix? So, it's like speed-running ONE boss, but with this limitation. Whatever sorcery combination works the fastest, wins. This is to avoid easy carian slicer spam, which leads to the same thing as usual, only with laser-sword this time. When FP-constraint kicks in, carian slicer might be the only thing that can kill the boss, which means carian slicer might be the only way to win.
