On the 3rd of June 2017, the cello ensemble of the class of Prof. Tilmann Wick gave a charity-benefit concert in the Neustädter Hof- und Stadtkirche Hanover, acting as the culmination of their annual concert tour.
It is not the philosophy of their teacher to only allow the best students to perform and for this simply to be a showcase for the class. Rather more as an educational experience creating a strong sense of teamwork, bringing together students of all different ages and levels of experience - ranging from first semester Bachelor to Master and Solo Class students. This eschews the standard hierarchy and makes for a much more holistic rehearsing and performing experience.
