I came back to this to say that the planet pass idols were always worth keeping your eye on, because the coaches felt like they improved the most/fastest and had the most potential. No surprise that all of them have/are about to debut. I feel like companies definitely noticed what the coaches had to say about them. Although I do think Suyeon was going to debut no matter what.

Looking back, I wished Kotone, Jiao, and Doah survived instead. At that point, May is already relegated as a non-factor and I am curious who their 2nd pick for Planet Pass is (my guess would have been Ayana as she is after all a Planet Top 9 at the start of the show), Ziyin quit the show so Jiao could have made great use of the opportunity (and a chance to shake up Shoot would have been amazing for them to keep them focused), and Doah surviving actually would have made for an interesting route (no hate to Bahiyyih but her survival here lead to her debut) I personally think that without Bahiyyih, we could have had a possible scenario of Myah not being given the planet pass. I have a strong hunch that Manami would have received it instead. AND we could have had a possibility of Yaning debuting with Yujin as center (the Myah and Bahiyyih voters would have rallied for Yujin) And this is me speaking as someone who wanted May and Ziyin to get to the finale.
