I've recently purchased an RSS20. The weight was pretty good at 7lbs 11oz, the neck and frets are outstanding, and the acoustic resonance is excellent. Unfortunately when plugged in, the humbuckers seem dull to me. I've played around with heights, but just can't get a good sound. I think with a good set of replacement humbuckers and possibly some upgraded electrics it will sound much better. It's a super easy guitar to play and the fundamentals are all excellent regardless of price bracket, but just needs a bit of extra investment to really make it shine.

I've probably had about ten other practice amps and while I've liked something about them all, I think the ac10 is best for home use. The cleans are freaking amazing, and you can, with some work, get some great overdrive tones too.

I think you have answered my question. I love your atmospheric laid back playing style and the humbucker neck pickup on the guitar sounds very cool indeed. Don't listen to this man, with an MG30 you can do the same thing as with the Helix, The sound is also very similar, you just have to spend time setting it up

Unbelievable they made something like this but don't let you use more than 1 effect at the same time. Those little zoom pedals are much cheaper and much more useful. I see almost no use for this hx one.

Lovely playing. I have a sparkly offset Ibanez with p90s and a hollowbody Ibanez, both are awesome guitars. The only criticism I have of Ibanez are their weirdly voiced pickups but the mini-humbuckers on your guitar sound very good.

Just got a gold burst T484 from Sweetwater a few days ago and I can wholeheartedly say that the hype about them is real. I have a number of Gibson USA guitars and a Heritage, and while they are very nice instruments (haven’t tried a Gibson Custom Shop yet), the Eastman is without a doubt the most perfectly crafted guitar I have personally owned and the setup out of the box is spot on. The case is one of the nicest I’ve seen, too. I love my Epiphone ES339, but the Eastman T484 is on a whole other level. It’s definitely a long term keeper. Might have to check out an SB56 or SB59 some time.
