When you use Captain Kid's effect at max Don!!, you can ramp that Don!! back out with leader effect. Lets you use 11 Don!! per turn.

Did a decklist of this myself. I highly recommend you try out luffytaro and the 5 cost chopper, it feels so much better/consistent.

I went 3-1 at my last locals. Radical beam is the MVP of the deck along side banish Luffy. Rad beam is unexpected and it helps a ton to keep your characters alive. Also I ran 4 Gordon, he saved me against 7cost Newgate and 7 cost Jack. Made them really easy to KO and paired with pell you can easily ko 7ks

I was using chaka also, but it relies heavily on the 1 drip Nami to make it work right. Otherwise it feels bad in your hand.

You can probably restand Zoro btw. Freeze only stops units from becoming active at the start of your turn. Effects that restand units counter this.

In that last match, couldn't you have restanded Zoro with his ability for 2? Like freezing him cost him 1 attack but for 3 don you can attack twice still.
