WW has a majectic voice full of boom and juice. A beautiful Wotan, rarely heard in the past and especially the present.
Heard Sir Willard White sing live as Klingsor in Parsifal in 2007 at the ROH. My God, what a voice!!!

Best video of an opera production I have ever seen. Mesmerising combination of music and images. Please give us this on blu-ray!
Johansson wasn't any good as Brünhilde - too shrill, as unfortunately wasn't Dalayman either - no low regiter whatsoever and scarce high notes. The staging was ridiculous... Berliner Philharmonics and Willard White were the real stars of this Ring.
Siegfried may have defeated Fafner, but he lost the battle of the bulge.

ah, se me olvidaba, les felicito por su toma de sonido de la walkiria de Aix, en HD Master Audio, esa es la razón por la que pregunto si este ocaso saldrá en BD
Belair, por favor, no sé el idioma inglés, compré su BD de la valkiria con White y Westbroek( los Berliners están impresionantes, como siempre ), ¿ saldrá al mercado esta producción en Blu-ray?, gracias
@coryisawake Good thing you put a question mark behind Dalayman, not an exclamation mark... In this production Eva Johansson 'did' Brunnhilde. Later on, in Siegfried and Gotterdammerung (of the same Stephane Braunschweig Ring production) Dalayman took over. Which, by the way, had nothing to do with Eva Johanssons performance.
