How do you get a 3d lines job? Do you leave out the surface on TBC and it automatically creates a 3d lines job?
When you create a design under the construction data tab, select 3d lines instead of surface under the model/edit buttons. Select only your 3d lines when making the selection and proceed as normal.

What about picking the correct master alignment? Lane guidance won't work without a master alignment selected. Is that part in a different video?
good video. how do you connect to sps880 extreme?
The SPS880 Extreme was prior to the Web UI. In order to connect to it you would use the Trimble Winflash Software and a DB9 to DB9 Null Modem cable or a DB9 to 7 pin Lemo. Most computers now don't have a serial DB9 connection anymore. So you would need to get a USB to Serial adapter cable. They can be purchased from Cables To Go or other online retailers. I'll try and put a link to a version of Winflash for the SPS880 in the description for you.

What version of Earthworks are you using? Im using 2.3, running a vcl model with 2 surfaces and one alignment. But I cant get the surface manager to pup up. What am i doing wrong? Please help me
When I reset my sps985 only the wifi and satellite icons flash (the radio icon does not). This causes no radio output and my data collector can not sync to it. Any ideas for a solution?

My trimble sps 361 can not outport the data. I have two sps361. One normal. One can not. Same settings. Trimble campany can show me?
Hi Van, Here is a link to the user guide for the SPSx61 series. measutronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/SPSx61-User-Guide We are not a Marine Dealer currently, so I don't have as much experience with setting up an SPS361. But from what I can tell the connection and setup process should be the same. Also, here is a link to the Trimble Dealer Locator if you don't know who your local marine dealer is. You should be able to contact them and get some help with the setting. dealerlocator.trimble.com/ Hope this helps!

I had created a folder prior to the Machine Control Data folder it auto created, and that didnt allow for any of my files to be copied onto the machine controller. Just a helpful tip i learned this week
Hey Connor, Thanks for the comment. That is correct, it is critical that the Machine Control Data folder is on the root of the USB because the software is looking for that Folder Name and structure. So if the Machine Control Data folder is in another folder or you have a "Machine Control Data" folder inside of another "Machine Control Data" folder it won't allow you to transfer files. Thanks for bringing attention to that.
When you export the files to "Grid" and "global" txt files what are the parameters you set within Pocket 3D? What are the settings in the "Custom Format" within the editor?
