Wow, it looks like no one is really working there. I saw that one drill running, and that's it. Kinda looks like they cleared things out around the garden shaft. Mybe one day we will find out what happened.

I remember like 10 years ago a company had suggested freezing the ground with some kind of rods in a circle around the money pit. Then excavating large sections at once. The dirt would hold together in massive pieces. If I'm remembering correctly. I guess the frozen ground would keep the water at bay. Always thought it was interesting but never heard anything of it, after the company's initial presentation. Glad they're going back to large caissons rather than shafts though.

I have heartburn over the main road that passes between the ocean and the swamp along with the rocks piled around the entire island. When was that road built? Without it the swamp would flow to the ocean. Who strategically placed all those rocks around the entire circumference of the island and why do they look like the same rocks used to build the stone road?
