SO...... I just joined GSC. Read an article by Patrick Dodge. Went looking for him on RUclips. Found you, and then found this interview. And then I realized this was a totally Divine appointment. I too have fallen. I too have sat with a bottle of whiskey and a 9mm trying to decide which one to pick up. I too destroyed my family. I too found redemption through God and the kindness of an old childhood friend, who is now my beautiful wife, who gave me a second chance. I honestly am sitting here speechless.....I am not sure what struggles you have been experiencing Briana, but today you just blew me away with this interview. May God richly bless you both. I hope I will one day connect with you both in GSC.

This post is going to ruin my faith, but seven years ago, after I forgot my parents' anniversary, I hit my stepmother. I felt so miserable and guilty about it, that I wanted to take my own life. I tried to commit suicide by overdosing on Midol. I survived, but the wound is still there. I wasn't a good daughter at all, so I apologized to my parents, mostly to my stepmother for being horrible to her. Though my parents are divorced now, it felt good to reconcile with her.

One of my close friends had passed away, I'm addicted to RUclips, felt a bit sad after moving to another town, I'm losing focus in responsibilities, felt distracted and haunted by my horrible past behavior, and I'm losing my interest in writing and the arts. I don't know what is happening, but is it possible that I don't feel happy?

Eight years ago, I attempted suicide for the first time after starting a violent fight with my stepmother. It was after I forgot my parents' anniversary, and I was threatened to commit suicide whenever I do something wrong or feel like I'm useless. But I couldn't kill myself after I made a promise to a friend that I can't choose suicide anymore, because God and my family and friends are here with me.
