HUGE school of largemouth bass in a secret location I found in Gull Lake Michigan. I have never seen so many large largemouth bass school like this in one location. Possibly spawning? The average size of the fish was around 3lb. There were some that I estimate were approaching 5lb. Too bad it was overcast. It would have been nice to have bright sunlight to get better video, but I'll take it! I ...

Cavern Diving With Freshwater American Eels
Pretty cool.
Sweet video, funky music.
Cool video that water is so clear! I keep a baby largemouth bass in an aquarium and he seems to be happy. I’m out of state in New Orleans right now and get back home tomorrow so I’m hoping I’m coming home to a live and well fish🤞
What are the odds.. i figured it was your fish Rex i was going to say wow 9 years youve been following the smallmouth.. insane odds!
Need to lose the music
Some lovely bottles well found
Some awesome finds coming out enjoyed watching thanks for sharing
Hi I have subscribed & added you to my channel.Listings Regards Johns Detecting Adventures UK.
Was hoping you would have displayed the teeth at the end of the video.
Sorry about that... I just tried copying pics from Facebook and it's not letting me. It's been a couple years since I made the video and a new phone so I don't even have any saved:(
I found a 1990’s 7 up bottle in McaPlaine lake. Also I know I spelled it wrong
Stopped in to Drop you a comment and sub brother. We believe in helping each other grow. Happy Hunting Brother. 9 Mile Bros

Badass
Ya. It's a riot. I just went again this past Tuesday. Thanks
I was visiting here yesterday and a local said he thinks there is machinery down there. Is that true?
Awesome video! I like your primary regulator your using, what make and model is it? ruclips.net/channel/UC5YXLT1TuPVofl25lyhPEoAvideos?view_as=subscriber
What is this music? Fantastic!
This is one of the most intimate videos of Eels in their natural habitat. Thank you for the footage.
That’s amazing! What clear water!! How deep was the video taken?
About 15 feet
Rob Knolle wow, that’s some great clarity!
Tell your buddy Semper Fidelis 🇺🇸
I think my Dojo Loach is actually an American Eel
i agree its more enjoyable if you actually know what youre looking at, but most people wont learn
Thanks for posting. What time of year did you go? What was the water temp?
Sorry it took so long to reply... We go in July once a year. Took this last year off . Water is best in summer. Mid to upper 70's. Name of charter is JET LAG or Carolina Beach Scuba
Hello, I'd like to ask you about using the video. Please contact me by email. wlgy0971@naver.com
We used to dive this one back in the 80's. There was a burbot that always seemed to be hanging out on the stem post when we dropped down to the wreck, so we named him "Captain Barnum". At that time, there was an old cast-iron cook stove in the stern. Is that still there? Most people were still diving this in wetsuits then. It wasn't bad, but it helped to pour a thermos full of warm water in the suit before you jumped into the water.

Wow!
B a l a m o r y...tell us a story ....la la la.
Haven't been there since 1980. You didn't show the"Sweepstakes"
We did not dive the sweepstakes that year. Thanks for watching
That was Awesome!! Love the Anchor Chains off the side.
Nice Thanks Downunderdan diving 🐠🐟
Hey Rob, Great video. I spent a lot of time back in the 70’s on those wrecks. (except the last one of course) Do not remember the water being that clear. Great memories, Thanks.
Thanks Allan
NIce job. I have to visit this wreck.
That music... creepy.
Came home today from spending week in Tobermory area. Very novice snorkler, have my own gear at least, but loved being able to dive for free and off shore to see these tugs in person. Went out in just my bathing suit, but chilly at first, but got used to water temp very quick with no problem. The wrecks are very close to shore and not that deep so was able to dive down and get very close to the wrecks. Parks Canada said it is open to public after 4:00, free parking after 6:00. Highly recommended!!
To your question as to whether they were spawning or not - the answer is no :) they are actually just schooling up and suspending waiting for baitfish as a unit. It's a typical post-spawn pattern. You're truly skilled for being able to locate this. Were you using electronics or anything of the sorts?
I'm looking for my sport diving ... hope to dive with you guys this summer <><
lol definitely not spawning
do you find dump sites behind houses or stuff scattered all over? i find dump sites and piles of bottles where i dive down 20 ft where the current doesn't touch it.
Dana, we find things everywhere. Sometimes in piles right where it was dumped and sometimes in eddies where the current has deposited it. Also just scattered at times. Thank you for watching and commenting!
How many 70s porno movies did you have to go through to get your music? If you shit canned the music would been a decent video.
Yeah, I know. Ya can't use "good" music because it is all copyright protected, so "free music archive" will have to do. I guess all I can say is it mute if you don't like it. Thanks for your feedback
Why is it every fucking video you watch has to have the shitty music blaring all the way through . Shit can the fruit music would of been a good video
Hate to repeat myself - but the camera work is great. I watch these vids at work so it's nice I can mute it (no offense). Hooked.
Nice. The camerawork is better than most explorers on dry land. And you learn something new everyday .... If I would have come across those shells with holes punched out I would have suspected aliens. Great bottles.
Is this the lake in coloma?

what cave was this in?

What an epic adventure , Thanks for sharing
Very intresting!
good.
Thanks!
omg
Great job Rob, what a beautiful animal which I hope we can conserve. And not a touch of silt in the water even when you were backing away from the eel at the bottom. ; ) Thanks so much for posting this for the world.
Thank you!
