Had a friend who bought 3 of these and I saw them first hand and even drove in one....the custom paint jobs on there were incredible and very expensive...... long before car wraps were ever invented or used.
Okay, that's quite amazing that you have a friend who purchased 3 from this lot! As far as the custom paint jobs of the era are concerned, I agree with you, they are exquisite and are a reminder of the craftsmanship that went into each of these unique vehicles.
@@deancummings586 Yes he was an auto reseller at the time and bought them to flip as well. The one I remember that he had was painted with clear blue skies and clouds on the front end and as it got to the back it was dark skies with lighting and rain.

Yes, you're right about that, I thought I'd let the amazing photo speak for itself! 😃
Do your know what to do when the tape holder won’t come out when you press eject
Hello, there are two potential sources that come to mind related to this issue. Power cycle problem: Perhaps the EJECT malfunction is related to a power cycle problem with the camcorder, in this case, you can turn off the camcorder, remove the battery and power supply, wait a few minutes, then reconnect the power and turn it back on. Another potential is to check the reset button: I don’t have this camcorder in front of me right now, but I’m pretty sure you can press down the reset button on the side panel or bottom, this can be done by using a fine tip like a pen cap if your finger doesn't work. Good luck, and thank you for watching!

Beautiful performance by Reshma and Sandy Bhimraj 👋👋👋👋
They do a great job but I think the tabla loop detracts from it. They'd do much better with a live performer or no tabla at all.

Surprising amount of end-user assembly required on that camera, but also a surprising amount of features. Thanks for the tour.

A civic could embarrass it & doesn't even sound nice. That mistake is the most hated Ferrari.
Okay I didn't know any of this information about this particular car. But even so, good or bad, a Ferrari of any kind is a rare sight in our area.
I have a wonderful collection of organs. This is a very good and reliable 1984 model KX330 Kawai ( the KX440 (430?) is essentially identical, just has a couple extra features). The KX330 that has lots of nice features. It even has a digital recording sequencer for super accurate playback of your song exactly what was played. The Synth on this organ is great sounding with a cool sounding slide whistle that rises smoothly up to your highest played key ( great for Star Trek theme). There are very full accompaniment sounds so beginners can sound more interesting until they learn to do it on their own. Actually some are great even for pros! The simulated Leslie rotary speaker sound is very decent. So the "Organ voices"- Flute, Reed, String are there and there are even Presets! Both Factory and Programmable. The overall 'tonality of the organ and the drum sounds, though not as extensive as the much larger 'flagship' Kawai model as played by Howard Beaumont ( video below), the flavor is the same. You can hear the whistle sound on the second video below. Watch- *Howard Beaumont - Concert by the Sea* . and *Straus/Sea Medley Howard Beaumont,Organ* . Until I scored a Lowrey Stardust for 400 bucks a few months ago my 1984 Kawai KX330 ( this model in video) was my only "modern organ" ( organ made using integrated circuits), beginning around 1974. In the electronic organ world, the more special sounding models are the 50's and 60's models on the whole because electromechanical tone generators (like Hammond Tone Wheels and Wurlitzer Electrostatic Reeds), vacuum tubes tone generators, or transistor tone generators make a warmer fuller sound. However, I really enjoy modern organs when they are done well.. The Kawai organs always sound pleasing!
Wow! I just learned a whole lot more about the various eras of organs. Thank you so much for sharing this information, and for watching!
@@deancummings586 Oh hey absolutely no problem. 🙂 I compiled lots of cool info and great cool vintage organ links over the the recent past so all the links are good. I'll just post the info here. Enjoy! You'll enjoy the "Legendary Theatre Organists ' video, and at the 40min mark he talks about Laurens Hammond briefly and then shows a 1938 Paramount film short about the "all new Hammond organ" and they demo one tone wheel in action. Also watch the cool campy in-color late 1950's Baldwin Organ film...(for get title, it's in my notes. Enjoy! ORGAN NOTES: Wurlitzers are my favorite I have one from 1948 ( Series 31 electrostatic reed organ and it's 5' tall Wurlitzer 310 rotary Vibrato Speaker). It's attack is great for liturgical and classical, but Wurlitzer didn't have a model with an instant attack (to compete with Hammond Tone Wheel organs, invented in 1937- see video " Legendary Theatre Organists" and watch from the 40min mark. So in 1953 Wurlitzer designed the electrostatic "Continuous Free Reed" organ, where all reeds have air all the time and are housed in cast aluminum enclosures.in a large fiberboard soundproof box. See great pictorial Tech article, ggl NORTH SUBURBAN HAMMOND ORGAN SOCIETY , then under TECH ARTICLES open WURLI 4600. It even has animated drawings. That site also does this for Hammond B3 Tone Wheel organ and the Hammond X-66. I have an X-66 from 1972. They only made 1,000 X-66 Hammond organs. Listen and watch Star Trek theme played on an X-66 simply youtube the title: ' Steven Eaklor '. I am on a big time kick for the sweet tone of the Baldwin organs of the late 50's- 60's especially. See youtube channel- Ccyawn123 Calvin fell in love with a tape his grandmother made playing her Baldwin Orga-sonic model 46H iirc. At any rate, he painstakingly learned every note of that tape and in the process became an accomplished organist with a great feel. He plays several models now on his channel, as well as posting some record albums of the various Baldwin models. Okay here is a great old late 1950's Baldwin promo 16mm film with 3 -4 families watching phenomenal organ player ( great pop and rock and roll of the era) Eddie Osborn demonstrate a Baldwin organ. It's in color! And no sound warble, which is rare in these old films. It's a 24min ytb vid title: Baldwin Organ (16mm 1950s) Also see- 1986 Electronic Organ Bluebook , and Jan Giradot's Electronic Organ List . The TONE GENERATION is the heart of all organs. Now everything is digital, but up until the early 90's in the organ world tone was created using various tone generators. The videos I pointed out above demonstrate Hammond's tone wheels ( basically a notched metal wheel spinning in front of a single pole magnetic pickup. Which is identical electronically to a metal guitar string vibrating in front of a 6-pole magnetic pickup. AKA The electric guitar. The Hammond organ has 91 tone wheels and 91 individual magnetic (wire-wound) pickups. The Baldwin uses vacuum tubes on these sweetest organs like in the video. Baldwin also also had gradual contacts, which nobody else used. Hence the reason for their great sound on slower ballads, but it also comes into play on faster styles. Electronic organs also have "Key Percussion". Hammond invented this in 1954 and the B3 was born! The side effect of the Hammond key percussion ( which is only on the upper 'SOLO' keyboard manual) is that the only note that gets the percussive attack is the first note or notes struck in unison, UNTIL the keyboard has no notes held. Hence, with some practice the organist learns to accent notes at will, much like a trumpet player. This opened the organ to the jazz world in the 1950's. And the pop organ world of the 60's and 70's. Listen to Walter Wanderley records! The album Walter Wanderley Chegenca is amazing! Check out Walter in a live video: Walter Wanderley - Call Me with Victor M. on Drums LIVE The Organ Forum is great! I have the same screen name there.

Beautiful voice!!
Thank you so much!!
I just started exploring mine today, surprised as you are that it also makes that dreadful sound right when you turn it on! However, since watching your video, I have loaded a piece of paper into it and started typing. Guess-what--?: The keys worked, the escapement worked, the carriage return line advance key worked--. I also read somewhere else that this model "will" be "loud," even when it is just "turned-on--;" although judging by both my model and your video--; I would have to rate that as quite the understatement--; since I've never heard any typewriter make "any" noise at all except for the key impacts, escapement, and carriage return--. I have long been warned about the Smith Corona typewriter brand as being slow and shaky. Now I may add cacophonous to the list, and of course really heavy for their size. I might increase my muscles before I improve my typing speed. Thank You--(!)
First off, I'm pleased to read that the keys, escapement, carriage return and line advance all work in your Coronamatic 2200! Those are the biggest indicators that you have a "keeper" that will serve you well for a long time. And you are right about the noise that this machine makes, even when the motor is just "idling." As to this model's weight, it definitely requires some heft to lift, but the silver lining, in my opinion, is that it is a very sturdy, reliable typer. Also, back to the point about noise, I should add that the quietest electric typewriter I've ever encountered was the Royal Apollo 10, which I did a short video on. Best wishes as you learn the rhythm of typing on your Coronamatic 2200, and with the increased fitness you'll achieve as you carry it from point A to B. 🙂 Thank you for your message, and your kind comments!

I have good memories of this era of Thunderbird as well, since it was very popular when I was at the age of 11 years old...
Couldn't you just take a socket and unscrew all the bolts from the front and simply pull the door off?
Sure. Even back in the day, especially with the tools available (yes they had screwdrivers, but they weren't like they are today), it would take so long to unscrew all that, you'd be in handcuffs before you got to the 4th bolt. Common sense is a wonderful thing... Sockets didn't become common place until about 1920 some time
