I got a tip for pulling a specific amount for a stack. There is no prompt showing the number you are typing but you can use the numpad and type how many you want instead of trying to pull that little quantity bar to the right number. Doesn't save much time but it does save some.

Valheim has ruined every other survival crafting game for me. I love this game so much. I find 3X resources reasonable for solo play.

On the plus side apparently power works the same as planet crafter, your generation is shared between all buildings

You also need the tool modification bench to install the mining tool upgrades (as well as any other tool upgrades you find)

Not sure if it was your playthrough when I saw it but, those needle looking satellite things have cargo to take as well

If you would have just sat back and shot could have very easily taken out all the weapons on that base. But no lets be dumb and try and just fly in. Smh

Be warned some of the crates you open with the laser are trapped, distance is a good thing

Dunno if you have noticed but each corridor and room you make requires power

You can use the laser cutter and the club thing in combat, nvm you fought them literally 30 secs after I made the comment lol

So I'm halfway through watching and just a thought, unfortunately probably a wasted thought since I missed it live (and apologies for missing live), about the question of Uranium asteroid mining, it's only 42km away, anything stopping you from making a cheap deposable remote drone to fly up and take a look? On the jump drive discussion, it is a guideline (not rule), no jump drives, part of the storyline they are Alien tech and the reason to go to Mars. But from a gameplay perspective, logistical planning for the transfer of goods to Mars at slower than light speed is an interesting game dynamic, and quite cool to send stuff off and hope it turns up there a few hours later. The other thing with jump drives and/or hydro/ion thrusted ships for that matter, getting to Mars is one thing, communicating with the ship when it gets there is another. Laser antennas are notoriously difficult to contact when conditions are ideal, and this scenario, the conditions are not ideal. Finally, I think there are duplicate copies of all the communication logs sent from Mars back to Earth in the Alpine Communications Hub. Also the restricted section in the library wont spoil anything for you, it is just a repository of duplicates of the data pads in case you loose one.

Has potential, hopefully its not too micro management heavy, thats something i like with EGS, wanna build something but don't have the components - it builds them first
