i wonder why need to disconect internet and and connect to pc directly, and also modify the ip? though the SADP Tool can export xml file even without doing the IP configuration, just connect dvr to the router and the SADP Tool can do that kind of job

hi, my problem with my Hikvision is that showing " no video in 4 channels" all camera are working, and infrared is ok showing red if i dim the front...dvr also recording...as i playback only showing "no video in 4 channels" but no camera detect in camera management....as i remember i factory reset it....any idea of this issue prob??? any advice thanks...

Why do people not use audio? I'll never get it. All this work if you could have just talked into a cheap microphone!!! It's actually much simpler. I connect the HikVision DVR with the Ethernet cable to the router. I download the SADP tool, then I do a factory reset of the device (well, in my case I could do it even without the admin password ... maybe having that 9 point pattern authentication activated helped that. Once the factory reset was completed, refresh the SADP view. And there the entry comes up and the admin password can be set for the first time right from the SADP tool, no need to do anything else on the DVR thing itself. After that was done the admin password was reset for good.
