Starting YouTube as a Shy Creator - My Tips + Journey
Starting a RUclips channel has been a huge step out of my comfort zone. I’ve always been shy and have avoided the spotlight, preferring to stay behind the scenes. I realised if I kept letting fear hold me back, I’d never grow or pursue the things that excite me. So, here I am, facing the camera, in my 50's no less, nervous but determined to push through. It's a journey of self-discovery and courage. I'm embracing my vulnerability and taking the leap into something that challenges me. As I always say "You can't grow inside your comfort zone."
I hope this video inspires you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, no matter how shy or what age you are.

My First YouTube Video - Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

The thought of uploading my face on RUclips for the first time was terrifying. I have struggled with anxiety and lacked self-confidence for most of my life. Deciding to put my 56-year-old face on RUclips was a huge decision for me and when I finally decided to go for it, well, you can see in real-time my anxiety come into play. My goal is to assist others in conquering their fears and anxieties...

@@JulieM2.0 Yes, I am. Made a mistanke at 16 years old. My loving Mother died in 1998, but my father and sister have contact still. I turned my life around 10 years ago. Have asked him on my knees several time before I " took the soon with the other hand", ( Norwegian saying for big change), and have said to him we never know when the time is up. He had a triple- by-pass heart Operation around 93/ 94, but No hand reaching out back to me. I am 1966 modell and he was almost 30 years old then. It is very hard. 10 year being a good girl and hoped for a positive reaching maybe not the first year, but after 10? Every holdyday, yes, every what ever.....it is hard to see the big point going on. I took a handful beads (about 10) add just a little of acrylic paint (about a dime size diluted with a little water) then shake them up in a little dollar tree plastic container with a lid, dry them on a paper plate with a blow dryer and bam!🤣

You could, I've tried that method and it's quite messy, uses more paint and when you hang the beads to dry it develops a pool of excess paint.

There's also a white stain. Easy Peasy no need to wipe really... Used it and was de-stressed and could see the wood under the stain. Plus because stain is water based dried fast.
