Too real. I spent forever being frustrated at not being able to play bass guitar. Too many complicated things to do with my hands, and too many guides and tutorials on how to do it in different ways that just makes you lose focus. But just from being bored through 2020 and playing everyday, i got to where i wanted. Same thing with my woodworking. Bought some crappy piece of furniture that i instantly regretted and hated. Stuck with it and hated it enough to fix it up, and spent forever on it, but i eventually learned about gluing trap joints, step-wise sanding, and shimming, just all of it. We just need to throw ourselves into it, when those around us never bothered to push.

I've had good results using aluminum anti-seize compound on battery terminals. Once you've cleaned the posts and connectors, use the little brush inside the can to paint them all over before reassembly. Grease works too but it doesn't have as much staying power.
